MY FIRST YAGP FINALS!! Although not everything went as planned, I’m so grateful for the opportunities I have and the experience that I gained from this trip. Even though I am sad about how I performed, it has taught me a lot and I cannot wait for the next time I get to perform!
If you don’t know who I am, my name is Alicia Lucchesi, I am 17 years old, and I am currently a student with Master Ballet Academy 🫶

omg finals is such a fun experience im so grateful i got to go! i train at a pretty small school that has never made it to finals before and our group dance was invited! i saw a bunch of you guys in the theater and we were also walking around and seeing how much free stuff we could get my mom even complimented melanie’s tiara as she was walking by not realizing she’s pretty much a celebrity in the dance world. i actually got to watch your contemporary pas de deux i think it was you but it was so beautiful and congrats to everyone that made it to the final round

Thank you so much for making this video. I think the thing that's hard to explain to other people about following you and your school and your schoolmates Is that even though you are all total strangers to me and to most of us, you are very open with your experience as dancers. And you let us not only see your talent but you also let us see the fun. It's clear you guys are having a good time. I don't know how you really feel about each other and I don't know how you really feel about your teachers, but it sure seems like you like each other. And I sure seems like you like your teachers. And you're wonderful dancers. Really. I root for you. I root for all of you. And even though it's not clear how you all will do in competitions or when it comes to working as professionals, in this moment at this time it's clear that you're having fun. And that's wonderful. It really is. And I hope when you look back on these videos when you're older whether you decide to continue as a dancer or to do something completely different, I hope when you look back you remember how much fun you had. Because no matter how good the dancing is or how heavy the awards are, nothing can compete with the fun.😊
