1. V has done some stuff, but now that I look at it, yeah V was most definitely underused. 2. I wholeheartedly agree with this one, the second Uzi went off on her own I had the word 'Oh boy, murder's gonna happen, sooner or later' bouncing around in my head. Mostly because I like watching virtual mass murder. 3. More screen time in general for a bunch of the reoccurring side characters would be good, well atleast for the ones who aren't dead. 4. I agree, I (personally) really like Episode 5, but maybe that's just because I'm a theorist and there is some nice lore in there, all the things people hate about it are passable since they show (and hide) LOOOOOOOOOOOOREEE. 5. Khan is definitely sidelined, as I said earlier, these reoccurring side characters need more screen time. 6. As I've said, we need more reoccurring side character screen time. 7. I somewhat agree, Episode 5 is pretty good (I don't care about your opinion, my is staying where it's at, I've taken in the facts and I ain't changing) but I still have that bias towards Episode 4 due to it being the episode that got me into MD, though I will say, the action scenes is now where Episode 5 flourishes. 8. J is sadly sidelined, we need less of J being a side character and more of J being a main character, because that's what she currently is, or atleast treated like, a side character. 9. Sadly, I disagree, in my opinion, Frank is the best character in the show, and there's nothing you can do to change my mind. I agree, every camper in Episode 4 had it coming, even if he was fairly innocent earlier with him getting his sentience removed by Uzi for a bit. 11. I will defend Episode 5 from this, the reason that Uzi got into the memory is because it's what Uzi would do, she wants to be near to N and doesn't trust herself to be able to influence things subtly, either that or it was the only way Uzi could help N. 13. Episode 4 is the best because A: THE LOOOOOORE, B: Good fight scenes, C: Good story telling with the camp and all, sure there are a few things here and there that hurt it, but it is definitely not the worst. 14. If he comes back he'll either be a jerk again, or will come back and do nothing, adding to the list of reoccurring side characters with very little screen time that aren't dead. 23. J is more mysterious than Tessa because we don't know much about here since Tessa took the spotlight in 5, and J said a couple of lines and fought, same with 6. 24. It might not ruin the stakes, but it's all a matter of HOW she comes back, I mean if she just get's back to them perfectly fine, why the sacrifice??? She has to come back with a limitation (that is if she comes back) for the show to not be crap. 25. Episode 2 is great, mostly because I like the creepy stuff, very fun for me. Also lore. 26. It matters HOW she comes back, not IF she comes back, if you do it the right way, the stakes will not be ruined. 27. Doll is a bland character? Are you kidding me? She has all the character! Look, she has red eyes, a Russian accent, a dead parent backstory, a, uh..... see! everything you could want for a character! (In all honestly it is a bit generic, but why is generic bad?) 28. I agree, others like Frank should get more attention than this always cheerful optimistic robot, sure he's fun, but it feels like an old joke at this point. 29. Hmmm, this is slightly true, but V also does advance the plot a bit, so she would be missed if she was gone. 30. Volume 2 is the worst?! Alright you may have a point there, the other 2 have a few more really good songs, but overall I really like volume 2, Also Episode 4 is the worst? As I have said before, I will die defending this episode. Dang, that was long, ah well hope I don't start another war, though by the time people finish this they'll be to tired to really do anything, or this massive wall of text will scare them away. I agree about the fandom 100%. That specific side of the fandom is uh - _something._ And Im like that one scene from Bluey where Im all _"I dont want questionable content - I just wanted some fun MD!"_ I also try to focus on the positive sides of each episode instead of focusing on EVERYTHING thats wrong as I really love the show for what it is and its lore. But again, that doesnt mean I ignore the fact that J, Thad, Lizzy, V and Khan deserved better and so on.

My hot take? N was fucked over as a character. He started off as his own character, searching for answers and developing his personality but then... he just became an accessory to Uzi. He no longer has his own moments. Everything he does is about Uzi. Even when he was separated from her in EP6 all he thought about or talked about was Uzi. As a character right now N is basically dead to me. I really want to see him acting on his own behalf more in the last two episodes. Not saying he should push Uzi to the side, but don't make EVERYTHING about her.

I agree that V isn't needed but since she's here, i think that she got an early send-off

Tbh my biggest problem with murder drones is how the disassembly drones (aka murder drones aka the characters that the show is literally named after) were reduced to basically nothing This is also why the pilot is my favorite episode in the series, i miss those times when the murder drones were actually op and scary. In recent episodes they just feel as weak as any other character

I’m glad that you made this video because since murder drones is being broadcasted on the same platform as KZfaq I hope the glitch team can see this learn from it and improve on well the Flaws like what you said about episode five and the other point about V when v returns I hope she has much more of a bigger role that would expand her character, and give her more depth to care about her instead of her, having mostly action scenes and small tidbits of dialogue but anyhow, this was a great video. 12:34 I know that everyone I the Murder Drones Fandom 100% ships Nuzi and I myself respect that but I also wish I could ship it a lot like everyone but couldn't really bring myself to because due to the fact I first see them as siblings cuz the pilot and second episode gives off found siblings energy and when Uzi starts showing signs of developing feelings for N I just brushes it off like her just being shy or awkward and that N and V are gonna be endgame but episode 6 bamboozled me and left me feeling conflicted about Nuzi like on one hand I want to ship them but on the other hand, they could've worked so well as a found sibling relationship and no hate to any Nuzi shippers out there

Ok so things we desperately need of the show: horror needs to return, it's what I was promised. Dissasembly drones actually Dissasembing drones, and in the bloody fashion of pilot. Maybe they could be sentinels, or eldritch Js. Spotlight for Thad, Khan and other worker drones that were once pivotal. Adressing the crimes of Dissasembly drones. The need for oil. Less teen romance stuff Permanent deaths (V better stay dead) Fucking character developement. And done properly, like Khan's. That's all.

If Khan went with Uzi in episode 4 and he was the one who brought her back from her vampire form, that would have been a PERFECT redemption. He’s trying to redeem himself but when Uzi is running off into a potentially dangerous situation, he’s just like “STAY SAFE, BUDDY!!!”

The sentinels were odddd setup wise but i think they for sure had some stuff in episode 4 mainly.

Honestly, I've felt for quite awhile V should have been the main character of the series, not Uzi. Don't get me wrong. I really do like Uzi too and she's a fun character in the show when she gets all emo and stuff. I even find her relationship with N adorable too. However, the only thing Uzi has truly going for her is the fact she's infected by the AbsoluteSolver and is trying to discover the mystery of her mom's past. Take those two things away as part of her character arc and she's no different from Thad as a worker drone other than being seen as a loser in her high school. Heck, they got rid of her railgun in Ep 2 and that was by far the best thing she did in the show IMHO. Why give her Solver powers when Doll already fills that role of being an infected worker drone that's dangerous and on the verge of going berserk? It just seems very redundant the more I think about it. V on the other hand has a lot more to her as a character. Not only does she have a great design for a murder drone, she's got a fun personality and has a much more interesting backstory in comparison too. I seriously am more interested in what happened to V concerning her time on earth than I am wanting to know what happened to Nori and the core collapse. Sure, I want to know about that too, but if I had to pick one, I'll take V's tragic past being revealed layer by layer for the audience any day because I truly believe V went through a lot worse than Uzi or Nori ever did. There's obviously a big reason why she's scared to death to tell N what happened concerning their past. But that's just my opinion about this. If nothing else, If nothing else, I fully agree V's potential has been nothing short of wasted in this series. She deserved so much better as a character.

My hot takes (if anyone cares): 1.V should stay dead because otherwise it takes away from the weight of her sacrifice. 2. Emily is the best minor character. Better than Braidon, better than Lizzy, better than even Thad. Emily is best bean. Change my mind.

Episode 5 is not, by any means, the best episode in terms of rewatch value and enjoyability, but we really needed a lore episode at that point. I'd like to remind everyone that we were all incredibly confused about everything going into episode 5, and it gave us more answers than any other episode to that point. I feel like you can skip the episode on your third rewatch or any others after that, but it's an extremely important episode for plot development. Is it my favorite episode? No, that spot is reserved for Cabin Fever. However, I don't think episode 5 deserves all the hate it gets.

Bringing v back Um... While yes the show didn't utilities her very well and she's pretty a third wheel however she pretty entertaining and i think that's makes her "DEATH" more emotional soooo... I mean it's possible for a big worm of V buuut idkwhy but bringing v back is like bringing Ironman back after endgame (I'm not saying bringing v back is downright bad but this is my opinion so ye) And i also still question why Tessa killed that worker drone at the end of ep3?

The V one just straight up isnt true. The first one. Let me say it like this, V murders Doll’s parents, which gives her the solver, which becomes the main motive behind Doll’s actions, which puts the rest of the plot into motion. Take that out and the whole show just didnt happen.

Oh yeah I just remembered that I have my own hot take, episode 4 was way too much all at once. Like now uzi can is absolute solver decently well, on these new side characters? They're dead now. It just happened like way too fast y'know?

Vanity is on point. V is just total simp bait. Then, Thad was set up and ultimately discarded for…obvious fan reasons. Khan tried to be a better father as the series went on and for some reason, fans blissfully ignore that because ‘Haha, isn’t he such a bad dad, lol?’ Ugh. J gets too little time to do anything at ALL. “That’s because Liam doesn’t like her” Uh, then why make her a character at all then? “Because Liam needed a long term kill in the pilot!” Again, no. Because then why would Liam bring her BACK? The core of the issues in MD are Liam’s GOD AWFUL writing decisions. Outright stating that he hopes he won’t write himself into a corner…yeah that went well, didn’t it, Liam? Just two more episodes to get through…just two more. Can we also mention JCJenson. Got SO much buildup and then did absolutely bugger all. Those first 4 episodes meant *NOTHING.* Just a big old waste of time. I also roll my eyes at Ep4. It was THE episode that turned me sour on the series. And it’s been up and down since. As of Ep6, I fear for how this is gonna end. My prediction: Nuzi becomes canon. Doll dies, Tessa lives as the last human alive, Solver dies, and we get our generic, predictable, happy ending (God please let none of this happen, Uzi is set for death at this point, if the true love bs pulls her out of it, I’m so done). I don’t want Uzi to comfort N at the start of Ep7 and this makes him instantly not worry about V, that would literally be kinda disturbing. ‘My crush is sad about his best friend dying, I’ll show him *I* love him and that *I’m* still here for him.’ How gross is that? Honestly, MD having a good or bad ending is gonna piss so many people off. Good Ending: Fans go nuts on Twitter saying they got all the fan service they want and that MD is the best thing that ever happened to them. Bad Ending: Twitter fans AGAIN send Glitch and Liam death threats. Neither side is going to win here. I fear the future of Murder Drones. I don’t want to feel this way as well. I HATE that I feel hatred towards the show now, despite me giving it so much love and praise when it began. And to think it could have been to easily avoided if not for some baffling writing choices…Better luck with the next show, Liam.

I feel that N and Uzi work better as characters when they are not together. When they are with each other you get all the romance stuff which takes up too much time in a show that is already short of time. When I think back to N and Uzi's best moments in the show, its always when they are on there own, or with one of the supporting characters. Whenever they are together, I feel they end up losing a lot of their individual character and simply become an extension of which ever one of them is acting as the main character within the episode. When talking about about the writing and especially the pacing, it really feels like Liam is trying to cram all the stuff he had like his writing style, plotlines and semi-romance that he featured heavily on his old SSTWL channel, but now with way less time to be able to implement them properly. All the story beats and tropes he likes to use are all there only heavily compressed down resulting in a lot of aspects of MD feeling underdeveloped when compared to what they could be. You can see this same compression and pacing issues in the one of the only two stories Liam has finished to date, C2-Strain. Which actually has a fully completed script floating around, which gives us an idea of how Liam would put together a completed show. In C2-Strain, you can see the a lot of aspects that would later be used in Murder Drones. It could be seen as a proto MD, only the horrors are made of flesh instead of metal. But just like in MD, we have a lot of fast paced jumping around between locations and story beats as Liam tries to fit everything he wants withing the story, with them being just about tied together in the end, but definitely feeling underdeveloped in some areas. Though at least in C2-Strain we don't have a lot of massively underused characters which we have plenty of in MD. I have a feeling this is how MD is going to end. Overall good conclusion but still leaving a lot of things underutilised and a lot of loose ends.
