This Shabad was recited by Guru Nanak Sahib Patshah during Udasi of Middle East When HE met Qazi Rukan Din in Mecca। Qazi became Guru Sahib's Mureed। The local ruler put him to death। Thus, Qazi in one sense became First Martyr in Sikhism

I used to whisper these words when I heard them in Gurudwara sahib once then I realised what sort of diamonds guru sahib have blessed us with but we sing only few common shabads. We must sing such shabads so people may know writing powers of Guru Sahib. Thank you particularly for this shabad.

I heard this shabad from you few years ago when you have sung along with Asees kaur but i would like to say this version is even better than that version.. So much peaceful that melts my heart..
