Yes, there’s a lock (with 2 keys) so that the hitch can’t be stolen from your vehicle. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I must have received a defective unit. 1. The threads on the hitch bolt do not match the hitch. 2. First time I tried to lower the bike stabilizer the the plastic holder broke off. Will be returning to REI.

A couple questions... How much does the rack weigh? Is it a 2" hitch and does it have a way to tighten the hitch so that it does not wobble. Thanks

It's a pretty beefy rack and weighs about 53lbs. Mine is the 2" hitch, but there is a 1.25" version as well. It doesn't have a hitch tighten mechanism, but there is very minimal movement. Hope this helps and thanks for the question!
