I traveled to Yakushima for three nights and four days. We took a high-speed boat from Kagoshima to Yakushima, stayed at a hotel in the Awa area, and enjoyed Jomon cedars, Shiratani-unsui Gorge (Taikoiwa), and early morning kayaking.
This video is a vlog of the Shiratani-Unsui Gorge trekking tour we participated in on my third stay day.
It rains a lot in Yakushima, but this day was blessed with clear skies and we were able to bask in the awe-inspiring view from Taikoiwa.
