When he reaches the chorus it’s ridiculous how it feels inside my stomach. Like I feel instant crippling depression and euphoria at the same time? And then it goes away after a few seconds.. what a feeling. Especially the impact when he said “it’s youuuu I watch TV with” idk it’s ridiculous how some sounds can make me feel such a powerful emotion.

His songs are within my vocal range and his style feels beautiful and old timey mixed with modern music. I'd love to adopt his style of singing

Unflattering angle, most flattering music ever

I hate that the cover of this song has overtaken the original in popularity. The original just feels so much more genuine and has more feeling. Nothing against the cover, it just can't beat the original.

I want to take a moment to aprecciate his piano playing, I'm impressed to hear how he hits all the notes of the chords exactly at the same time when he wants to, he's completely used to sing and play the piano at the same time you can tell.

I think I love the audio from this recording more than the official one. Don't get me wrong the original is still great and has this amazing theatrical and impactful feel, but something about this one - the raw, unaltered power of both his playing and singing - just feels so intense and flooded with emotion. Like when you're finally alone and can destress after a long week of being dragged around to help with a million different things, you finally have the freedom to just get everything out of your system that you've been holding in and keeping you tense. It feels so natural and real, and I hadn't realized you can't find much music like this that's able to replicate such a deep connection to raw human emotion. Thank you for uploading this wonderful gem and giving Matt more exposure of his genius and creativity 💙

You hear a final bang. Everything stops as you start to fall. The world turns black. 3. You and your best friend are slowly drifting apart. They hang out with other people, and you’re being ignored. They finally tell you they don’t want to be friends anymore. Memories flood your mind as she starts to walk away. It feels like the world is ending.
