Trying to decide between the Honda Activa 125 and the Yamaha Fascino? Get the Yamaha, it's better in every aspect. Someone, Honda managed to make their 125cc scooters super dull to ride and even the Honda Activa 6G is better to ride. The Yamaha's not just quicker, faster and smooth, it's also lighter, more fuel efficient by a small margin and roughly the same price. The Yamaha is also higher quality overall which should seal the deal, as it were. The only advantage to the Honda, then apart from the minor price advantage is the additional one year and 12,000km of warranty coverage. We were trying to make sure this video lasted longer but the Honda makes such a weak case for itself... although it's a decent scooter, don't get us wrong... that this video is already over.

@@jayantnagsaivasa1207 they have a point, they're nothing like the usual Honda. They are playing imposter to compete with RE but in that rat race they forgot their identity for the CB350 twins. Both great bikes for sure, even a better build quality and more reliable than the classic by quite a margin, but not really Hondas. Plus the bigwing exclusivity for bikes like these makes no sense.

When it comes to longevity of engine life and machinery, nothing beats a Honda. They have good service too. Can’t say anyone else nails both.

@@soumyabhattacharyya1133 visuals can be subjective, besides there are plenty of options out there. The sporty Ntorq and the economical Ray ZR are all close enough to give a thought about. Avenis for example is a pretty underrated scooter.

Access 125 is best amongst all. I am a proud owner of it and it never disappoints in terms of power, comfort, fuel economy, maintenance, reliability and much more.

Since motor Inc started , I have also seen this bias . I have seen him reviewing hornet or cb 200x decently well in past on other channels like overdrive but here it seems like every video somehow targets Honda to do better . It could be related to the fact that Honda doesn't provide the test vehicles to many channels to review and doesn't want any negative publicity 😢

I believe that more than the product the overall experience plays a very big role in owning something. I personally started my search and visited 4 TVS stores in Bangalore ORR, none of them bothered to even speak properly and as a last resort I returned to one Honda store near by. Entire conversation , 2 test rides and payment is complete in max 45 mins. I got the A125 delivered in a day. When it came to Yamaha, - search results showed horrible reviews - most stores looked like they are deserted My recommendation for someone here is to consider overall experience and long term ownership experience while recommending something.

You forgot about the resale value, after sales service, parts availability.. and the 125 engine from Honda is pretty refined and is a good choice for those who want less gimmick and a more affortable product.

The one thing I want to raise here is yamaha service is somewhat unavailable in remote villages and local mechanics many times decline to service yamaha vehicles so having a honda will be a better choice when it comes to scooter.

Quality body parts , long use Honda is the hero here , lots of complaints of Yamaha nowadays colour fade-out within 6 to 8 months, I saw many Yamaha scooters shaking while standing in traffic jam, we are paying money 1.15 lakhs, not easily , quality and durability speaks here!! Honda not changing design, not giving features many of said but they giving are giving the product worth of our money , that’s enough

When it comes to scooter segment just close eyes go with suzuki access . I have active 5g too. Access for all rounder even you can take for long rides also engine never feel stress absolutely beast scooter. Activa smooth but heating issues not for long rides also less mileage 40 to 45. Access easily getting 55 mileage

Could you please give your opinions on Jupiter 125. I live with my siblings and we are about to buy our first vehicle. So, we decided to get a scooter. I wanted to go for 450X but came to the conclusion that i will have to copromise a little because I really enjoy going to early morning rides on holidays and sometimes I have found myself 50km or more away from the place I started. So, with the Ather it will be really on the edge and it might ruin the fun if I forget to check the odometer. Now, I really want to get Ntorq XP. I convinced my siblings and later took them to the showroom to see it for themselves and get test rides but there, they ended up liking Jupiter 125 more as it has more convenience features up it's sleeve. From that day, I am being convinced otherwise. I am on the verge of giving in. I would love if you could do FAQ on Jupiter 125. So that i could either convince them or me.

Fascino? Hell no. Dad bought one and it was his single most dumb decision. The scooter is just built to last. The panels got loose in just 1.5 years. Engine made weird noises at above 50. Spent upwards of 12K in maintenance, still the issues persisted. Overall very bad experience and has zero resale value. Its not even worth 15K now.

Its just a 'whatever' product from Yamaha. Activa is way better. We bought Activa after the horro story that Fascino was. The difference in quality is huge.

Have 2015 yamaha alpha Good engine, but currently underperforming a bit but better than same year activa Worst build quality, Even the service centre didn't fix it properly even after replacing parts. No major accident, driven carefully still the whole fiber body doesnt fit properly and broke at some points, now fixed with screws handling destroyed, doesn't fix no matter what we do Rear Suspension and rear brake is very good

When you try to accelerate honda 125 scooters it feels like they are suffocating. The acceleration is not instant. I have observed this in my frinds activa 125 whereas fascino accelerates immediately. However fascinos suspensions are super hard so not very comfortable on bad roads. I really hooe Yamaha adress the suspension of fascino and ray in next update. This is the only thing holding back fascino and ray. They are amazing scooters 8n other aspects.

Personally I was completely disappointed with activa. Suspension was extremely worst. When a small pot hole comes I’m getting a feeling as if I’m going into a very big pot hole. Refinement and breaks were bad and lot of back pains. Now I’m riding a vehicle with a better suspension and when a pot hole comes I’m still getting scared due to activa’a worst suspension. Even though I don’t like the overhanging back angle of fascino I will select it instead of activa among these two Due to activa’s demand Honda has stopped focusing on CBR which was really bad

I have activa 125 bs6 from 2021 2.5 yrs now but never felt an issue with vibration. Suspension is too soft at front but comfort on the pount. I am not going to agree. 😅 The only problem I faced is the bad quality of plastic used.
