Yamaha FS1-E moped from the 70s, 1977 in fact. This beauty is in Baja Brown colour. This video show an issue with the Charging / Generator system where the voltage drops so much that the indicators stop working!

Try a new battery could be collapsing under load , bad cell ect , stick ignition on don't start it ,stick your foot on the brake light and see if voltage drops away below 6v Ex AA man Ps try putting the earth of your multimeter on the chassis directly not on the battery itself and take a reading lights /indicators on running and check the reading again, if its above 6v then you may have a body earth problem, especially if bikes been restored and frame was stoved or sprayed, give the area where earth is bolted next to the battery on a fiz a good clean up of the the terminal and frame /body where earth cable bolts to 😊

Hi bud. Brand new fully charged Battery, New regulator, Brand new bulbs all round at the correct wattage. I can only think it has something to do with the generator.

yep I expect its the down side to a 6V system. normally the system should produce a higher V when under load so its the likely solution

Regulator has had it.

Hi bud. I changed the regulator just in case and it's made no difference. I also changed all the bulbs for new ones making sure they were all the recommended wattage etc. I'll get back in to it when it's a bit warmer.
