I own a z1000 2014 now, this was just a testride. But i think it didn't had any.

I used to own a 2011 FZ8 and am considering getting a 2013 model, but this time going with a full exhaust system, air filter and dyno tuned ECU flash, my first bike was stock, never got to mod it since i had to sell it, so i'm debating getting a fully modded FZ8 or a 3rd or 4th gen Z1000 with a slip-on exhaust, something urban brawlers. The tuner who did the dyno tuned ecu got 109 hp/62 trq at the wheel with a Graves full exhaust system on the FZ8...

Have you considered getting an FZ1 instead? You're obviously looking for some more power than the regular 106 hp, so why not get the bigger version right away? You might end up paying less than what you'd pay for with the FZ8 with all the mods.

I've considered an FZ1, but to me I didn't like the seating position of the FZ1 compared to the FZ8. I know they share the same wheelbase, seat height etc. The FZ8 felt more flick able if that sense, It could be that since it was my first bike I feel more comfortable on it, but I had that bike for less than a year so I really didn't get to mod they way I wanted to. Money wise your right with mods on the FZ8 I would be looking at around 6 grand total, including purchase of the bike. But I did decide that if I ever got a litre bike it was going to be a 3rd Gen Z1K, the 2010-2013 Z1000's have a great seating position for my 5' 8" frame.
