I was doing track day on my Bonneville last year. As a first timer on the track I was amazed how much more bike was capable than me! How to break late and effectively, how to accelerate out of the corner, where to look - to learn those things you don't need to have a 100hp bike.

Some great riding and a great point proven. I grew up in the Yamaha RD350 days when a full face helmet was rarely seen. Had a friend he did things on a RD350 that would blow your mind, he would street race every weekend at a South Florida party spot perfect illegal track, no one could touch him and he was racing 15 to 20 of the best riders around. He showed me that it's not the bike it's the rider and skill. He finally got smart and when the RD400 came out he was riding a legal track on weekends with great success. Today SUSPENTION=RIDER SKILL=WINNER back then it was skill and a big pair.

Awesome riding man, your skill is super impressive and it's awesome to see that an Mt is keeping up and passing those bikes, all about skill! Would love to see you on one of those bikes against the same gents.

Good job on the MT07. Are you using basic setup for the suspension?

Motorcycling is all about skills. My first bigger bike was a R1 and I got smoked by much smaller bikes. I sold the R1 in the meantime.

Just had my FZ07 on the track last month. Usually take my FZ09 which is kitted out with suspension, better bars, rear sets etc. FZ07 is a surprising little beast out there. If you carry your speed well and run a tight race line you can definitely put a beat down on the 600s and even some liter bikes. I over took a zx10r in the corners and luckily had enough speed coming out of the final turn onto the straight he couldn't catch me on the straight

é notavel e admiravel como uma mt 07 consegue rodar em uma pista junto com motos bem mais desportivas e potentes e ainda assim, no ficar nada mal vista ,.. claro que o piloto tbm faz a sua diferença mas , realmente todo o conjunto da 07 é muito bom

about 5:24 is where you will see the power difference for these bikes. MT07 is a great bike. but has no top end. Its a clunky two cylinder motor and its really tame. great bike. But should only be compared to bikes of its same class. A lot of people tend to pool this bike in with 600cc 4 cylinder motors. Which are completely different bikes

A skilled driver will always be faster on a 600cc bike than an unskilled an a litre bike. However, a skilled driver on a liter bike, will be faster than a skilled biker on a 600cc. People think themselves skilled too fast.

Γεια σου Γιάννη! Σε παρακολουθω αρκετό καιρο και γενικα τον κοσμο της πίστας. Βλέπω διάφορα. Θα ήθελα να ασχοληθώ "σοβαρα" με τη πιστα . Με φρενάρει αυτο που βλεπω στα βιντεο τα δικα σου και άλλων. Ειδικα οσον αφορα το κομμάτι "group αρχαριων" που ειτε θελω ειτε οχι απο εκει ξεκιναει το ολο ζητημα. Μου βγαζει μια αισθηση καφενειου. Θα σκεφτει τωρα καποιος. "Ρε μεγάλε, αμα σου βγαζει η πιστα των Μεγαρων ( * ) αισθηση καφενέ, τα λιμανάκια τι σου βγάζουν" Η απάντηση μου θα είναι να μη μιλήσω. Επανέρχομαι λοιπον ξανά περι της αισθησης καφενείου. Ναι, αυτο μου βγαζει. Ειδικα οι αρχαριοι. Τους βλεπω και λεω θα γίνει μαλ**ια , και αυτο το λεω απο την Κ1 μεχρι το τέλος. Λάθος γραμμές ;Και πως μπορει ενας αρχαριος να εχει σωστες γραμμες; Βλέπω ανοιγουν ολοι στην ευθεια με τα όσα, και οταν ερχεται η ωρα να στριψουν, κοπανανε τα ABS σαν τρελά. Αρα λειπει απο τον οδηγο τεχνικη καταρτηση; Πως καποιος μπαινει με ενα TRACER 900 ανοιγει στην ευθεια, και οταν ερθει η ωρα να στριψει , μπαινει με κλειστο γκάζι. Και αυτο δεν εγινε ενα γυρο. εγινε 20 λεπτα. Δηλαδη ο οδηγος ,ΔΕΝ μπορει να καταλαβει οτι μπαινει με πολλα; Πρεπει να φυγει ευθεια για να το καταλαβει; Η απλα τον νοιαζει μόνο η ευθεια στην τελικη της πίστας; Ειναι ολοι τοσο εγωιστες; Πανε ολοι "μπουλουκι" , διχως να τους νοιαζει. Και ολα αυτα, ολες αυτες οι αποριες ερχονται απο εναν οδηγο, 23 ετων με ενα χρονο εμπειριας πανω σε 2 τροχους, που εχει κανει ενα μαθημα ( και θα συνεχισει να κανει ) , που ξερει τι πρεπει να κανει κατα τη διαρκεια εισοδου και εξοδου απο τη στροφη και το μονο που του λειπει ειναι εμπειριες. Πως αυτος θα μπει εκει μεσα; Με ασφαλεια; * Μιλαω αποκλειστικα για να Μεγαρα ! Συνεχισε να προσφερεις αυτου του ειδους υλικο!!
