@@Luca_Radeschnig i ended up getting a Rapid Red 2014 09 as well. Low mileage and minty. She got a lot of extras on her now, i love that bike and will probably never get rid of it

@@clutch18008 i did, test rode 2 Z900s, a 2020 at a dealer and not real sure what year the other was, it was owned by an acquaintance. It’s a fun bike for sure but has the same feel of any inline 4 bike. The Yamaha put a smile on my face as soon as i fired it up and didnt go away until i parked it. So much bottom end torque that just doesnt stop. I test rode a 2019 MT09 but i knew if i got one i would want a 1st gen, just prefer the looks to the newer models. My best friend gave me crap for getting a naked bike but after putting my flavor on it and him riding it several times he’s in love and has since sold his CBR1k and is in the market for an 09 and our other friend bought a 2015 a couple weeks ago. Got the deal of a lifetime too, paid $4k for it with 6k miles and bone stock

I really really hope you answer I’m about to get this exhaust do you have to weld and cut the old exhaust or does this exhaust come with headers ..please answer I’m begging you

You need to cut an old exhaust headers but don’t need to weld. Can pick up a spare Yamaha exhaust for next to nothing in the UK, some people even give them away.

Not related to the exhaust, but can I ask where you got the set of frame sliders you have on your bike? I got the shogun no cut for the one closer to the radiator. Trying to find one that fits on the other bolt closer to the tank but no luck.

Leo Lasalvia Austin Racing installed mine as it was the first mt09 to have one fitted. Don’t think it’s too complicated though.

Well is the only system you can get for the MT09 from AR. Includes the end can and mid section. The system uses the stock headers. Involved a cut being made but well worth it as the stock is terrible anyway. Check my IG out for more shots @mt09_rider

Grexx with baffle out for me is too much for commuting. I keep baffle in for commuting. It’s really great but def need to remap the bike ASAP to get most out of it
