Yamaha R7 Rider Gets Airlifted - 100 Degrees, Wheelies, and First Responders!

Fourth of July Sunday at Azusa Canyon started off with an eerie feeling. Not much riding the first few minutes of this video as I wanted to showcase the first responders heading up the mountain to a motorcycle accident.
If you watch closely, you'll see the R7 rider make a pass at the tower while holding up the peace sign. Later, that same rider would be airlifted out of Azusa Canyon. You'll notice I blurred the first responder as he approached the tower - at his request, as he shared some details about the accident.
I still don't know the result of the accident, but I do know that the rider did have an Insta360 mount attached to his bike after reviewing his pass at the tower. I hope he is okay and that one day it will be just another memory to look back on.

All these accidents were far and in between 20-25 years ago? I use to ride through here and Angeles Crest a lot? Most riders ride responsibility and ride within their skill set and enjoy the art and beauty riding.....but then their are a lot riders who feel that have to flex and do something "extra" and soon pays the consequences? I've seen some wild stuff up there in the last 10 years? These are beautiful canyons that are perfect for riding, but its not the Isle of Man!! Ride responsibility🙏👍

The R7 rider made his only and first pass at the tower early in the morning. Didn’t see that trailer coming back down until hours later.
