Here is my 07 yamaha raptor with a yamaha R 1000 cc street bike motor. it was built by a buddy and Me. its a blast and runs awesome. no issue. just wanting a newer truck so I'm throwing it up for sale. thing is a tire shredder. in this video its sitting on the drag strip set up. I have shocks for it that make it sit a lot higher. i have taken it on dune trip sand it was a blast. really would like to keep it. but on the same hand would like to have a new truck also.

One of the nicest Frankenstein ive seen so clean it looks factory. If you want to go fast this is the way to go in my opinion. Im sure its super reliable and you have never had issues with it because it looks well built. Im sure the guy that has issues with the sprockets has a shitty set up and the motor is not aligned right with the rear swing arm and it eats away on the sprocket. Awesome quad you should build more for people who want one.

hey brother, what did you need to fab to fit the r1 in the raptor. i really want to do this with my quad, but dont know what all will need fabbing. yours is by far the nicest r1 hybrid ive seen. any input will help. ty

one of the biggest reasons is i have a turbocharged truck in my garage that has a bad motor and would like to use the fund's to build a stroker motro for that and I have to many toys that id like to focus on. I rode it yesterday for the first time in awhile and it wont break my heart if it doesn't sell. it such a blast to ride. its hard to keep tires on it on pavement.

yeah but im sure down the road ill end up with another one if this one sells. I really enjoy building stuff. its not even the fact oh having to sell them. I just like building toys. i have had many of different toys over the last few years and i almost have more fun building them than riding them. next i'd lover a shifter art with a r1 motor : )

i used the factory fuel pump from the R1 tank. it fits in the raptor 700. furl tank. it just has to be modified.

How did u mount the air filters up to the throttle bodies? Im doing this with a 09 motor and the throttle bodies are weird you cant just clamp on a air filter directly on like you'd normally be able to with a carburetor.

I had a local company water jet some flanges. The flanges would bolt directly to the throttle bodies. I then welded a short pipe to the flanges that would allow the filters to have a area to clamp to. I just took them the factory R1 air box and showed them what flanges I needed they measure it out and made some. You could probably trace some out on cardboard and take it in and have them cut. Or trace them out on cardboard and cut them yourself.

55 for short runs. If I wanted longer gears for higher mph I had a 45t on it. The lower rear sprocket the faster top speed but lose lower end get up and go. 55 had tons of bottom end but less top speed.

what kinda of exhaust tips do you have? where did you get them? how much?

Daniel Moran the Exhaust was just factory R1 exhaust cans with the A&R race baffles. just factory painted black with high temp paint. I really liked the sound and they were dirt cheap like $150.00 total with the race baffles already installed.

Daniel Moran Never once had a issue with it eating sprockets or chain's. I even ran a aluminum sprocket out back and never had a issues. I even launched the bike in sand and on a sticky pavement track and never had a single issue. the bikes run a lot wider chin then a regular atv. a atv runs a 520 chain and the bike motor runs a 530 so I went with a 530.

Hey man don't doubt people on age when I was 15 I rode my 06 FZ1 ( 1000 cc ) hard all over town and on the highway illegally of course but I didn't care I knew I was fast as hell I've gone up to 230 K
