My opinion 1:This is the Yamaha rajdoot 350 L.T. version of Japan made Yamaha Rd 350 H.T. 2:Those particular motorcycle is Rajdoot 350. 3:This motor cycle was not imported and it was the Low torque (lt) version,of Japanese Yamaha High Torque (ht)version 4: This motorcycle was Rajdoot 350 (Indian motorcycle company) with collaboration with (escort group). 5: Yama rd 350 some parts were (japanese motorbike) fitted in Indian Rajdoot 350 motorbikes.with (Low Torque) due to its capabil speed which was not good for indians motorcycle rider,due to narrow and broken roads (muddy) roads. 5:The high torque of Rd350 was capable to take pickup 0 to100 on some few (1/2) seconds.or might be less then (1) second. 6: Low torque which was Rajdoot 350 (motorcycle) Almost every things are similar to,Yamaha Rd350, eccept (Torque). 7:Due to unstabilty of Ht version of Rd. 8: So on Company had decided to (divide) their company &reintroduce that motorcycle with Low torque engine,Indian company (escort). &(rajdoot). By pasting their motorcycle (company) name. 9:It was a huge success, we Indian citizens liked a lot that Rajdoot 350 motorcycles at that time. 10: Yamaha (Japanese rd 350) (Ht) and Rajdoot Indian 350 (lt) is still,racing Bike lovers 1st (choice) still after so many decades of times, love to restore and bring that particular motorcycle, on roads in (Showroom) condition,or in (tiptop) condition. 11: It is also true at that time period we Indians had driven under 200 and 350 cc motorcycles(Royal Enfield bullet 350) which was like tortoise walking speed, including under 200 cc motorcycles (Rajdoot 175),(Hero Cb 100) (Yezdi 250 road king), (Yamaha Rx 100) etc. 12: So we Indians got 1new motor cycle named Yamaha Rd 350 which was gain speed (0/100) in just a few seconds, the normally (Re bullet 350 cc) engine torque was very low it takes 5/10 seconds to gain speed actually it was a high way motorcycle. So we indians were (Addicted) to ride that kind of motorcycle which take some times for full speed. Atleast it takes 5/10 seconds could accive high speed/Full speed. 13: Suddenly we (indians) got a motorcycle which Speed was like (rockect) cc was 350, Torque was (high) name was (Yamaha R.D. 350) made in japan each and every parts of that motor bike,was imported, many of that (machanic) don't know how to repair the certain bad or damage part to change or fit it. 14: The low torque version or the collaboration version of Rd 350, was little bit lack of speed,such as acciving 0/100 in 4/5 seconds.after all this chages have made acciving 0/100 in some 4/5 seconds, it was a big issue for indian roads. 15: Ihad mention in point number (twelve), that we indians are addicted to (under 200 ) and (under 350) motorcycle.... 16: Suddenly we got 1raching motor cycle name Yamaha rd 350 afterwards Rajdoot 350. 17: We indians got 1kind of fantasy aswell as surprise, by both bike direct Rd 350 and the collaboration 1. 18: Due to lots of smoke comes out from its silencer pipes (both). 19: The petrol prices and That motorcycle price both the imported and Indian Rd was to discontinue by Indian Government. 20: That rd, was which shown in this video, is not taking out lots of smoke from its silencer, might be he is putting in the (1st) gear including watch the distance. 22:If something ihad given wrong information or half information then please/kindly show me the correct way. 23: Iam from Assam and ihave 3rdx imean Rd 350 all are ,(H.T) imported and A1 condtion. 24: Yamaha Rx 100 was also very very+1000 times fast motorcycles both Indian&japan made. 25:Rx 135 it was full Indian made parts were (imported). 26: Amongst all this mad motorcycle introduce by Yamaha motorcycle company (Rocket in pockect)Rd350 japan made was like president of that era time fast motorcycle like any other,, the grand father of (superbike) nowdays. 27:That time there was a other motorcycle (Rd 400). 28: Not lauched in India by Yamaha. Tourqe was (High). Some few points more than Yamaha Rd 350(Ht) version. 29: 6 points more then Rd 350 (Ht). 30: Ithink that Yamaha rd 400 motorbikes,didnt launched in India due to Yamaha motor cycle company have to decrease the torqe of that Rd400 motorcycle along with colaborating/tie-up with escort group and Rajdoot company. 31: Now in this 2000 to 2023 yamaha company is still in production like (Fz) motorcycles and other.

@@Joshua-YY But in Indian market after collab with rajdoot. It was called Rajdoot 350, so in India “Race Derived” term took the backseat. And ppl referred RD as Rajdoot only.

@@korinostream correct, but RD does not stands for Rajdoot its only put up by the RD 350 fans but it was never official. The Rajdoot was a motorcycle company by Escorts Group who produced a few models in the past.
