Күн бұрынThe Yamaha RMAX 1000 XTR has been an excellent vehicle for our family to go trail riding with. I made sure to get it street legal in Arizona so we can drive around town as needed. The engine size and suspension has been appropriately sized for what we are hauling. We had quads before and never used them like we do our side-by-side. This rig has been my answer to more family time on the trail.

Did you do anything special to keep your light bar from rotating? Those EMP brackets don’t have teeth to hold the light bar in place so I was curious how well it’s holding up. Thanks! Good video

That was not an owners review, it was a normal review. Hardly gave any impressions on the unit until the end. 🤦🏻♂️

I'm thinking of getting one of these for trail riding, I'm in Arizona too and wonder how is the dust on these things? I'm reading some comments that the dust being sucked into the cab is unbearable when you have a windshield on this..

Get a “Rogue Powersports”windshield. No dust. I have two.

Where is the oil filter and how do you access it to change it?

Go to the passenger rear wheel well and look toward the front. I just reach in the wheel well and spin it off. You can certainly remove the panel to make it easier.

How is driving it on the street? The rear diff is always locked correct? Tire wear on rear a problem turning corners ?

I currently wear ear plugs for me and my family does not. My plan is to install an intercom system. Stay tuned.

In your opinion is this a better 4 seater than the Honda talon 4 seater?

I like them both for different reasons. My Rmax for the length in navigating trails, and included features of the roof, winch, navigation, and drive modes. The Talon for the geared transmission and rear seating room. So I would absolutely take either one with the Rmax winning out with price and availability at the time I bought it.

@@makinglifefuller2866 by the way do you remember where you got the led light and brackets? I was thinking of ordering it and I love how your brackets worked with it and didn't know if they came with the light bar or did you have to find them separately. Im picking up a new 2021 RMAX 4 R-Speck so its pretty stripped down and I will need to get all the stuff to add to it. I was just lucky to find one available. Oh and do you like how your windshield works with the dust? Everyone I talk to keeps saying that if you get a solid windshield you have probs with the dust but I was wondering if the vents help that problem? Thanks so much for all the great info.

@@lttaylor2003 hey bud extreme metal products also sells great light brackets. I ordered them and also the windshield. Windshield has taken over a month for delivery but light bar brackets came quick. Fits a 40” light bar really nice.

Mine has been making that same knocking noise, 2021 Wolverine X4. Still waiting for Yamaha to tell us what is causing it…….😴

@@makinglifefuller2866My Wolverine X2 does that to only between like 40-50 mph. It's kinda like a ticking noise coming in between the front seats/center counsel. Hasn't caused any problems though.

Open side panel under drivers seat. You will see 2 oil cooler lines. Inboard cooling line rattles. Isolate and rock on.

Yamaha RMAX-1000 2 seats 💺 it’s very nice 👍 look great and I liked but 4 seats 💺 it’s kinda cheating worthless useless :( Who design with 4 seats 💺 must be a lonely no kids only dog 🐩 or a cat 🐈 :( let’s just say you get for passenger where are you going to put a water 💦 cooler food 🥘? I guess they were thinking something else not supposed to think when they design :(
