In this video i fit 3 new discs to the Yamaha Tmax... a partial caliper rebuild , replacing brake pads and bleeding the brakes.

Just for a little United States English trivia we call the strap you held the brake caliper up with a “bungee cord.” The 19mm socket is almost identical to the US 3/4” 8mm is 5/16” 13mm = 1/2” 14mm = 9/16” 16mm = 5/8” These wrenches are not exactly the same to the thousandth of an inch but close enough that we often substitute them when wrenching on things in the US. Drag a fingernail across the disk, if it gets caught, ok you can replace it. if you only get some on the outer edge where the pads don't touch you can clean them up if still in spec calipers or micrometer, 3 measurements in-mid-out over 4 or so locations going round it. Do you mean the bungee cord? Fluid change maybe from the other work in the rear. That isn't too much grease. If you have a dual caliper setup generally do them 1 at a time.

KZfaq is great for finding videos like what we make, sadly i've noticed many people put background music over it. I personally prefer the no frills, precise and to the point videos when someone is repairing or dismantling things. i great example is Mustie1 and BigStacked i subscribed to your channel i as also liked you content. 🍺

don't use a torque wrench to remove bolts, has it will dis-calibrate them. other wise, nice work.

@@AridersLifeYT I was only joking buds. I'm also an owner of a tmax500(2010). I'm not a b/mechanic by trade but i have to do all repairs by myself. The only draw back of the tmax is that it becomes costly if you take it to a bike shop.
