See the new 2022 Yamaha top case including matching top case design elements (in matt gray) for the Tricity 300 (in metal grey). Unfortunately, the smartphone reproduces the colors incorrectly in the video. The difference to the metal gray cannot be seen with the naked eye on an overcast sky, only a minimal difference at best can be seen in direct sunlight. I tried three colors beforehand. The color matt gray goes best with the color metal grey.

I went for the gunmetal as well. Mine has just been run in. it's pretty quick off the chocks and has good mid range torque and according to the clocks on the flat, it goes up to 95mph flat out. my first attempt at top speed. . (I was being battered by winds as well) It handles well and is comfy. That's pretty good for a 300cc with a hell of allot of weight to pull. I never expected a rocket ship. But am surprised at the power from a heavy machine being powered by a 300cc I was not expecting much but I got more than I expected. Great for long journeys. If anybody is going to get one you need to get used to the weight but first of all learn the stand assist. Using this when parking it up will mean it will stand on its own without the stands but remember to put the handbrake on. If you use it when you come to a stop whilst riding be aware , you still need to put your feet down first as with a normal bike when coming to a stop. It's pretty pointless other than parking for me cos you still need to put your feet down, when you stop on a run and you can arm when stopped but if you like putting your feet on the trike and not the ground you still need to put your feet down to disengage to move off. A good trike but stand assist only really good for parking it up. Under seat has enough storage for 2 helmets and still a bit of room left over. It also looks better than the rest of the 3 wheelers. Was expecting a 6 or 7 out of 10 bit for me it's an 8 out of 10

You described it perfectly. The scooter weighs as much as other scooters with a light woman on the back (about 60 kg more). That's not so much. I should have bought the big windshield earlier, it's super comfortable now. Greetings

Before I even ran mine in I bought the Yamaha sports smokey dome screen and aluminium foot rests and knuckle protectors. I wish I tried out the standard screen at speed (could not go above 40 as running in) so did not have it on at high speeds when ran in before I put the sports screen on. It's a bit blowey with the sports screen but looks cool. It gets to 68 pretty quick then slowly moves up to late 70s then trickles the rest. It got up to 95mph on a very long flat section of the motorway. You need alot of road to get to top speed. I reckon true speeds about 80 to 85 max. There's no way the clocks are correct. Did alot of overtaking on the motorway and the top speed according to clocks was 83 but a good chunk of motorway later it went up to 95 but still going flat out it lost speed and hovered between 83 and 90. Top speed seemed to be dictated by the wind interference. I was doing 87 mph and slowly overtook a car that kept altering it's speed and the speed when I got past hovered between 84 and 88 and the car overtook again a mile later and about a half a mile later my bike was back on his bumper when it got to 91 mph lol. Fun bike to ride.

WoW der neue TOP Case sieht genial aus auf der tricity. Werde den mir auch holen. Mit eine bischen Bastelarbeit , kann man da sogar SMD LEDs einbauen. Bringt nachts ein extra an sicheheit.

Ja, das Top Case wirkt nicht so altbacken wie das 50 Liter, dessen Design schon ziemlich alt ist. Die roten Lichtdummys sind sogar abschraubbar und austauschbar. Sind denn zusätzliche LEDs erlaubt? 🤔

Wäre mal zu überlegen, bei einer längeren Ausfahrt. Schaut gut aus. Ich sehe du hast ein hohes Windschild? Bringt es was? Ich habe so ab 70 ganz schöne Verwirbelungen im Brust und Kopfbereich. Ich bin 1,82 groß.

Hallo Gerhard, das Getöse am Helm hat mich von Anfang an sehr gestört, die Luft wurde ja direkt zum Helm geleitet. Mit dem großen Windschild ist damit Schluß und es ist viel leiser am Helm. Ich könnte auch quasi komplett ohne Helm-Visier fahren. Von daher super. Allerdings bleiben die Arme bis zu den Schultern voll im Wind, da das Schild sehr schmal ist. (Ich bin 1,83m, Selbstmontage)

No, I won't do a review. I just wanted to show the top case and the matching design elements. I'll answer specific questions here in the comments section. The new 45 liter top case is smaller than the old top case. My 2 LS2 Valiant II helmets only fit lying down and in a very specific position. Luckily, I almost always drive alone. But the top case was great for the tour with camping equipment to Croatia. Regards.

Hello, the color of the Yamaha is gunmetal grey. The color on the top case is called grey matte

Wenn ich das so mit dem 45er TC sehe..... sieht so schlecht gar nicht aus. Bräuchte das wenn, nur, für die WE-Touren, wenn ich mal irgendwo übernachte oder so, ansonsten will ich das eigentlich gar nicht. Bin momentan echt hin und hergerissen. Oder aber ich bleibe bei meiner Lösung von Motea mit dem 70l Hecktaschenkonstrukt 😎. So oft übernachte ich ja nun auch nicht und bei mir ist de Tricity auch kein daily driver

Das Topcase und der Träger sind halt nicht ganz billig, aber sehr komfortabel. Ich wollte es für meine kleine Sozia ab und zu und für meine Allein-Tripps mit dem Zelt (zB Kroatien). Zusammen mit der Tunneltasche reicht der Platz für eine Person gut. An meiner Vespa nutze ich auch ein Top Case.

Goes fast enough for any road. If you want to hit the sound barrier spend the bucks. I'm getting one of these. I test rode a Kymco cv3. Now that's fast but not as good looking and shite storage space. under tricity seat it can soak up two lids no probs. Kymco just one. Plus who the feck is kymco? It's also 50% more to buy.
