My boys have a TTR90 and its been a great bike as we keep up with the maintenance, etc. I have noticed lately it is starting the slip (kick start). Nice to know what the issue is. I'll have to see if this is something I can tackle on my own. Thx for the video. Love your shop friend too on the floor as you work! If it was me, you have yourself a great bike fixed up now and would keep it. It's hard to find these smaller kid bikes not thoroughly trashed with little or no maintenance on them. I think you said you paid $200 plus your $600 you put into it, you still can't find a bike with all the new parts and work you have done to it for $800. You know what you have done to it and you are good for several years to come but I digress. We same graphics as we have on ours too. Enjoy the bike!

I just got a set of rings and valve stem seals of ebay, cheap little kit. It fixed my oil issue. I think it was the valve stem seals

Hey i just buying one for my little boy but have the same problem with the kick start yuo tink if i jus works on the wiring in don't mess with the kick start yuo tink will running

If it works electric start I really would not mess with it. Because the one way bearing is pretty expensive

It needs 3 things, compression, fuel and spark. If it was sitting the carburetor probably needs to be cleaned. You can try and start it and spray starting fluid in it and if it fires you know you just need to work on the fuel part of it.

I am working on one and the kick starter won't return back up after you kick it, and when it is running the kick starter just hangs limp at the bottom. Any idea what is going on?

Sounds like the spring either broke or it popped out ots hole. Take the side cover off. At 16:00 I mention the spring

Yeah it has been doing it for a while and I took the clutch cover off to try and fix it a couple days ago but had no luck. @@eloos74

The end of the spring needs to be clocked in the hole. It's not the easiest thing,

Yeah I got it in the hole but I think it might be binding on something or maybe I just need to rotate the kick starter assembly so the spring has more tention. I will take a look tomorrow.@@eloos74

Woah woah woah, could you please tell me how you got to the one way bearing, like the tools for it because, I tried that on mine and the gears just sit there and spin

Pull the clutch and basket off, then I used a impact and pulled the outer part of the centrifugal clutch to get to the bearing

I think 10mm for the 4 outer clutch plate, and 17mm for the inner basket
