OMG, that mud in that engine! 😱 But that was no problem for the guys with the golden hands - and a Yamaha two-stroke engine is back in life! 💪👍

I give so much credit to the Japanese. When they first started building motorcycles way back in the 1940's, they used the cheapest materials available because that's all they had. But, if you took care of the motorcyles and serviced them regularly, they would last indefinately! BTW - this vid is not staged, like others are getting to be, this is the real deal. Thank you!

Great video. But, why did you dont change the crank bearing from the stator \ magneto side ? Its hard to take out the bearing, but you can cut it with grinder very gentile, and take it out. In future that bearing will give you some trouble... this engines are sensible to gap's with the main bearings. The YPVS valve, its "tuned" without exhaus chamber mounted on. I assume that you dont have the servo motor to make the power valve work normaly. So the best thing to take out restriction, is to leave the exhaust valve faced with the upper part of the exhaust window. (make a smooth pass) you will notice that with finger. Thats why it need to be "tuned" without exhaust chamber. cheers

Um ótimo aprendizado na desmontagem e montagem, mas o que vejo que e um motor antigo sim mas na hora de abrir não parece que rodou muito, as partes internas não estavam nem encardida pela queima do óleo que fica na carcaça, muito curioso este detalhe. Mas valeu o vídeo por ser um yamaha.

That inner clutch hub is well past its useful lifespan, and I know you know this! You're going to get some loud grinding noise in the lower gears with that amount of wear, noticeable slipping in higher gears. You had it open on the bench... This tells me you're making these videos just for the youtube views, maybe also to palm off a rebuilt machine to an unsuspecting buyer.

Eine alte 125er zweitaktmaschine ohne Beschichtung der zylinderwände hat nach 50 oder 70000 km unweigerlich sicht und fühlbare Riefen. Ein pures auswechseln des Kolbens würde demnach nichts bringen. Es bedarf schon mehr, einem solchen. alten Motor wieder zum neuen Leben zu bringen.
