Hi’ I'm thinking between a new p22 and a 10 year old used U1 for my son. Is there a big difference between the two? Since the piano is something you will use for a lifetime, I want to think carefully about it.

I agree with Popular music the P22 is a digital piano the U 1 is an acoustc piano. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Great videos, excuse me, I'm thinking between buying the Yamaha B1 Piano or the U1, which do you think is better?

Very exciting! There is no doubt that the U1 is a higher quality and "better" piano. The B series and especially the B1 are the most entry-level options for Yamaha upright pianos. That being said, depending on your goals the B-Series could work perfectly for you. What are your goals with purchasing a piano? Have a GREAT day! - Josh

@@PopplersMusic I am a conservatory student and my goal with the piano is to develop as a pianist, is the potential of the Yamaha U1 piano enough?

@@jhocellwesleymegoperez1196 Very Nice! How old are you? When you say conservatory student are we talking about a high school music school or college conservatory? Also, with your school, how long will you be at the same school and how good are their pianos? - Josh

@@jhocellwesleymegoperez1196 Por supuesto que es suficiente para desarrollar el potencial como pianista; te servirá para desarrollar todo el ciclo de cursos en tu escuela o universidad hasta obtener tu diploma, incluso hay muchos pianistas profesionales que por razones de espacio o presupuesto optan por esta opción. El U1 para mí, luego de evaluar otras opciones como pianos verticales de segunda mano de marcas superiores como Seiler, Schimmel Boesendorfer o el mismo Steinway si no tienes presupuesto para estos el U1 es la mejor opción en calidad-precio y te va a durar toda la vida. Te recomiendo mirar varios pianos y te recomendaría buscaras U1 de la década de de finales de los 70s o de la primera mitad de los 80s; fueron hechos a mano en Japón, su materialidad es de primera y el sonido es redondo al estilo de un piano europeo y te va a salir a mitad de precio de un U1 nuevo.
