I have a 2002 vmax. I can assure you its a V4 not a V Twin

I own the 2005 Anniversary model, for an 18 year old bike it still pulls like a train, I have modified the suspension so it handles a lot better than stock as they were known not to be the best handlers although this was over exaggerated back in the day, it,s a crazy ride that always puts a smile on my face every time I ride it. I have the more powerful version with four cylinders though unlike the one in the video. :)

Me & my ex wife got very well & became great friends .To cut a long story short she lived with a guy ( car mechanic ) also became a friend of mine who owned one of these V Max’s & came around to my gaff & let me ride his bike .It was the full power model built for the USA straight line tearing off from the lights fans .It one hell of a beast once the boost comes in on those 4 v pots on the straight ,although on the bends you need to show it whose boss by grabbing it by the scruff of the neck ,if you want to stay upright .He later bought the second generation version ,but it never had the cult status of the original . Great bike for someone who likes their straight line tarmac burning muscle beasts & I can see these bikes fetching silly money in nice nick in the future like the original Yam fizzes do now .Nice one Mr Rev bomb XJR’s now V Max’s you are spoiling us 👍

My Brother in law has a Vmax fricken amazing scary ass bike. V4 sounds so good. Do you get the model number? I know in Australia they only used to import a few per year so you get the number and a plaque to say you are number 7 out of say 200 or something like that.
