Btw just so you all know in the service manual it says that for the wr125R use 560ml of 10W fork oil, for the wr125X use 610ml of 10W fork oil per fork.

yeah, its nice and only 5 minutes away :-) I wish I had home depo and Walmart here too :-/ I'm not so familiar with the UK about what u have over there tho

How did you find getting the seals in enough to put the clip on? Did you have to wack the seals down a fair bit? What did you use?

i used an 5mm allen wrench carefully with a rubber hammer evenly one each corner so it would fit, u can also lube it in oil for easier install. XD

My strew at the bottom was also spinning, but I ficked it by putting everything back in it, turning it upside down, pushing on it and then screwing while pushing it down

Yamaha har valgt hvor mye olje som skal være inni der så lønner seg nok og følge hva produsenten anbefaler.

Do i need a impact wrench to remove front wheel axle? Normal wrench would be fine?

Hi, my damper rod seat is made out of plastic. Your one was out of metal. Were there more than one different type of forks built into these bikes? Mine is a 2015 WRX built for the german market. Greetings.

im not sure, mby wrx and wrr has different parts inside? wrx could have plastic for comfort ? Is the plastic ring broken or can you reuse it?

@@mekkehead2321 hey, thanks for your quick reply. i did some research and checked my "haynes wr,mt,yzf book" i bought awhile ago. in the book the process is shown with the plastic damper rod seat. there is a note, that wr models received two kinds of forks "paioli" and "kayaba". so that explains the difference between R and X i guess. mine is not broken, i was just curious.thanks for your quick response and greetings from germany.

@@mekkehead2321 i've never been to norway but i have a friend there living near bergen, i might give it a shot and hop on the plane in the future. yeah, german cars are pretty well made and fun, especially cars like porsche :) anyway, thanks for your wr videos. im not riding mine that often anymore because of the xj6 but it's still fun to watch and learn stuff about.

dont use power tool, try to use a normal tool with your hand and get the tool a little stuck and then pull it while you unscrew it ;-) send a new comment if it worked or not XD

@@mekkehead2321 i cant it screw out too... the top end with oil, spacers and spring is out, but this fucking bolt is killing me... do i even need to remove it to just swap out the fork seals?
