It's great to see the restoration condensed into 15 minutes, cutting out all the blood, sweat and tears and let's not forget the grazed knuckles too. A much underrated bike still with the potential of touring with today's bikes😊😊

Yes, and how about all the time spent setting up the camera to break your concentration. Road Rodent Restore is doing two difficult jobs at once. Well done.

Yow great video, i was hoping to see that there was another way to build the engine back in. Hard job to do on your own. I am doing the same job. Front forks also pain i the *ss after 30 years.

Tell you what my friend that looked like a monumental task you took on there, you remind me of myself. I just bought one of these and I’ll probably do what you did. Compared to this cbr1000f it definitely was easy lol. Cbr1000f turned into blood a money pit. 👍

I'm building a zx7 P1. Gearbox had bent second gear selector fork.. Its taken me around 5 weeks tinkering in my shed to get it on the road. Out of interest how much did you spend on the XJ900S? My project is tipping the scales of nearly what I paid for the basket case. Australian dollars about $1500. So all up $3000. And again, very entertaining videos, you remind me of my grand dad with your resourcefulness.
