I like the bleu and the Grey ...i chose the grey model . for me , the xsr 900 is the best bike ever ( under 10000 euros ).

Very nice. Just replaced the original pogo stick rear shock on my MT09 with a Shock Factory M shock. 350 quid well spent. Massive difference. Front forks next on the list for an upgrade. Might go Adreani route myself. But that can wait for Spring. No point doing that for shitty Lancashire roads in winter. Love the sound of that 850 triple with an Akra, got the full titanium one, sounds awesome even the baffle in! Enjoy.

Big Thx Dave after an extensive shop around .Seems you did all the hard work.. Ordered my cartridges and Nitron back shock yesterday... 432 euro with shipping for the cartridges . No doubt Thai customs will have me over for another 100 quid. 365sterling for the Nitron... Obviously that price is less VAT as I am none EU..

That shock is beautiful and awesome with proper suspension! I am going to run the same cartridges that you are on the R3 for racing after I am done being race broke lol. I have I'm emulators now and they're okay better than stock but I'd rather have cartridges for the exact tuning. I have need a better shock and that will come too but Mrs Rhino is at the end of her rope with the money being spent lol . I will have to wait a bit. Beautiful bike and I seen you ride her on the gas video and she seemed so composed. The suspension is why! And that you you have a smooth throttle control too. Awesome bike brother!

My advice is keep your hands in your pockets for the moment with your cash. You will be going through tyres like they are going out of fashion........and they are the things which make the biggest difference. Without sounding negative it is inevitable you will bin it at some point and a bent bike is expensive to repair........Just take it steady on your first outing. Rome wasn't built in a day......You have shown a great attitude and willingness so stay close to your mantra. I'm with you all the way bruv.....

dave xs I am trying to be as smart as possible on the money. Tires are super expensive too. I am hoping when I do go down it's not a bad crash lol. Trust me bro your not negative at all it's the fact of life as a racer and money isn't a unlimited resource.

So, glad you agree.......I was worried when I posted you might think I was being negative. I wish I had my youth back again. Racing is a great memory for me regardless of results.

Sweet! I just got identical bike. Does your seat move around a little? I didn't notice it until I took it off and put it back on, but it moves a little. Others have reported the same. Trying to figure out if they all do that.

I can say no it does not......I remove the seat fairly often to access the battery and such and found it an issue. Sounds like you may need a little packing on the scope by the tank or tighten up the rear hook's possibly!!!! Hope you love the bike as I do?

Looking to upgrade suspension for square edged hits, pot hole, killing me in LA traffic. Performance ok for what I need, commuter slug. Any advice for harshness?

Can u just write out front and rear suspension set up for 170 poud rider for street riding. Front : Compression.(high in mm) Rebound:(how many click from full hard) Rear: Compression (what number) Rebound (how many turn from full hard) Thanks

Dave XS is that akropovic exhaust road legal because it says on the akra website that *THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT MEET EMISSION COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR STREET OR HIGHWAY USE* I would like to buy that exhaust but im worried if I can use it on the UK roads? is there a way around the compliance? Thanks

The exhaust is not Emission compliant as the Cat has to be removed. But the bike will pass an MOT test no problem.

From memory I think it was from R&G racing here in the UK. I also had a small licence plate made up online.
