I do believe all reviews should include interchangeable earcups as a feature to address since we Indians live in hot weather tends to sweat more and make earcups wear and tear in 6months-1yr , headphones general won't break or stop working but the earcups are biggest downgrade we need more brand to come with changeable earcups at in mid to Premium segment (10k or above)

I am one lucky owner of 2 Yamaha vintage orthodynamic headphones, YH1 and HP3. YH1 is the HP1, which got renamed due to some copyright issues. :)

These headphones are really beautiful, but no multipoint is really annoying. And also you didn't talk about the quality of the microphones in the phone call but especially your section on the ANC and the transparency mode is too vague as if there was something to hide 🤔.

Active noise cancellation on the Yamaha YH-L700A headphones is mediocre, far from the quality on offer from headphones such as the Sony WH-1000XM4. You can't adjust the ANC’s intensity in the app, either. The 3D audio is at times impressive and at times bad, as it can suffer from delay and an inability to pinpoint a source location. You can turn off the head-tracking feature and leave the 3D audio setting on, but this leaves you with a mess of reverb and EQ effects. The worse part is that the ANC drastically affects how audio sounds, which should never be the case. Considering above points I feel Yamaha's YH-L700A headphones are far too expensive, Many excellent headphones are far more affordable, including the Bose QuietComfort 45, the Bose Headphones 700, and the Sony WH-1000XM4. But if you are a bass lover, there's nothing like this headphone anywhere else in this price tag.

hiii, ershad,,which brand headphones should I be looking for purely sound quality under ₹ 20,000 . I tried Sony WH1000XM3 but the sound signature didn't excite me. Years back , I had a cheap Sony Ericsson walkman series mobile and the vocals were heavenly when used with the earphones provided with it.

@@sonu1704 depends on what you want. If you are not looking for a specific sound signature then I think XM3 will satisfy you. Also if convenience is your priority go for XM3. For me, I didn't have an overwhelming experience as I expected with XM3 .

For money i am yet to hear anything close to Panasonic rd hp10. Snneheiser momentum comes close second still pana beats it.
