haha, i actually just finished my yz250 engine and used all new hinson setup so I had old usable clutch laying around ;)

If it was me l would use some Yamaha bound on that trouble spots but that's just me and if l could l would just spring for new cases if you where going to keep the bike.

i got it very smooth and with not gap but i did use yamabond on it to be safe ,, no need for new case it will be perfect

Can I use a 99 and up crank on a 94 Yz250 2stroke, they are saying my year bottom end rebuild is discontinued..😢

I’m looking for a complete rebuild kit on my 1997 yz250 2 stroke . But everything for this year is out of stock. I found a 2002 yz250 complete engine rebuild kit with the same bore size and piston as my 97. Just wondering if that would work or not

I've never seen a center case gasket for a yz250, did your Cometic kit actually come with one?

There is no center case gasket we used yamabond 4 on the center case ...

@@brad5664 okay cool. I wasn't trying to correct Jay or anything, I was just actually curious if Cometic made one. In the video it sounded like he was saying you were gonna use a gasket and some yamabond to seal up where the case was welded.

@@codyjoseph44 no worries the case was welded on the clutch cover side not in the center case so thats why he said we would use a gasket and yamabond ..thx

Can I please have a way of communicating with you? I need this done for my boy. I got him his first yz and it was my last...A 1990 250..Due to ALOT of medical issues, it would be a benefit to have it done. Please let me know how to communicate with you. Thank you
