Looks fantastic, I purchased the same model new back in 96/97. Excellent sports tourer especially 2 up.

I love the old Thunderace, a good friend of mine (God rest him) had one exactly the same as yours. When he bought it, it was in mint condition, untill he lost control doing a wheelie, and hitting the back of my Triumph Daytona 1000. It was a right mess after that, and i made him pay for ALL repairs to my Daytona, which i still have, and is now a restoration case itself. Nice vid, many thanks for posting it.

Lovely job! I so recognize this. You start with something small and end up with motorcycle parts all over your shed... In my shed at this moment a 4th gen. VFR...

Great job dude, shared this video on the Yamaha Thunderace forum I am member of, someone said "Nice detailed video. What type of shock did you fit and where did you buy it?" Thanks in advance. Best wishes from the Lone Wolf in the lakes. :)
