Yamaha TF series: How to set up the applications for the TF series

TF is featuring three applications that work seamlessly with the console: TF Editor, TF StageMix, MonitorMix. This video shows how to connect & set up these apps with wireless Wi-Fi using DHCP technology.
These apps are using with different devices as following. “TF Editor” with PC, “TF StageMix” with iPad, “MonitorMix” with iPod.

Is it possible to connect Powerplay p16 (behringer) to tf5 through rj45 (NETWORK) port?

No sir. P16 personal monitors use ULTRANET networking protocol, which is exclusive to behringer. To use it you would need to purchase the behringer P16I input module and use the analog outputs of the tf board to the P16I. Then you can connect up to 6 p16m personal monitors from the P16I distributer via cat5 cable.

Guys, can anyone explain to me why, when working from a tablet on Windows 10, I can’t get the spectrum analyzer to work? On the console itself everything is clear and everything works. Through TF Editor I also tried to click on a free equalizer field, as is done on the console, but nothing worked there. And he clicked twice, and once, and held. Is this a bug or a feature?

After i watch this video i try to connect my tf5 to my laptop....after they connected to my laptop ......my mixer automaticly reset to initial data.....2 hours before event started...

En itunes debe estar disponible solo para ios. Y la aplicación de monitor mix hace unos días ya esta disponible para ios y android yo la pobre en android y va bien.

You need to work on the iPad app , there is no custom "fader bank" , no custom mute group, no midi learn , the detention at 0dB is a nightmare (you keep moving your finger and never know when it will go further than 0dB, the faders must be BIGGER, like all other brand apps (I have a Mackie dl1608 and a soundcraft UI-12 so I know what I'm talking about) , And don't get me started on the console , I think my previous 01v96i is a much more professional product since TF series doesn't have midi or daw capabilities (are you joking?) . Great console but I took for granted those features since there was or there is still missing a user MANUAL...... Was looking to upgrade from 01V96 to TF1 but got stuck kind of in the middle . Sorry for so much criticism but I expected more from TF1 and Stagemix app .

marcelo rundie I’m confused. I own a TF1 and it works wonderfully for a DAW. I love it and it sounds great. I don’t use any of the WiFi stuff...(just checking out what else it can do) I bought it specifically for use as a DAW. USB easy breezy 16 tracks simultaneously into my Apple, instant kick butt DAW.

I'm guessing that most of these issues have been sorted with a firmware upgrade? I have the TF5 as a studio mixer and it's fantastic. Does everything I want, despite no midi - I would love to know if automation is possible through Cubase though? That is the only thing that I'm missing at the moment, everything else is perfect for what I need.
