I found that it is so much harder not because of fishing places, but because its hard to wall up/use boats as adequate defense when you can be attacked from all angles. With high resources it might be possible, but with low resources its so hard to fast bronze age and tower-rush with calvary like you did in this video, since they will always beat you to the bronze age ...... still, im sure someone has done it before, i'm going to keep testing strategies

1) It is impossible to tower rush with cavalry, we need defensive strategy in the beginning. Choson, Babylon, Egypt and probably Rome are the best to defend. Probably is possible to use Yamato or Assyria with their fast vilagers. 2) Fishing places, or it is better to say fishing boats, is the most important factor. Other are less relevant and depend on each particuat map. Fishing Boat can only collect food but it is still a VILLAGER! With this additional training queue of villagers you have much more opportunities for growth and development.

I don't recommend anything in this vid. The choice of the civ depends on the random map and its settings. But For these settings ( in the vid) Yamato is a good choice ( my opinion).

The tactic to beat with 1v7 is dont attack until you are very strong they will attack you pretty late then

i've been able to do 7 hardest on islands/costal but I find it impossible on hill country...

Nick, i never tried playing vs 7 hardest on hill country, but it will be much more difficut than playing on water map because there are no fishing places. But i will try to be absolutly sure. P.S stupid google, i can't answer comments on my old vids, just can write a new comment. Stupid google with its google+ and other annoying innovations.

With high resources in the beginning and tower natioan it is defenetly possible. However it is still an open question with small resources or playing with Yamato.
