Excellent unit! I love the technology used electric pianos, the sound quality and variety of instruments in a single device. Here in Brazil, Yamaha have these models for sale, but prices are nothing inviting. Taking into account that the price of a Clavinova out here, almost the same as a great keyboard arrangement. That ends up having the same "function" that only the Clavinova with easy transportation. My desire is to soon acquire one of these equipment. I will still be able to accomplish it.

I'm looking for a used Clavinova. maybe this model or the CVP 409 or 509. how many different voices does this piano have? Right now I have the Yamaha Clavinova CVP 89. it was the top notch model in its day, but it's over 20 years old. definitely am looking for something newer.

+Michael Murrin The USB port is underneath next to all the other midi and phono outputs. It also has a USB host port as well to connect to a PC.It will record and replay midi files directly from a USB memory stick.

Too bad they don't demo Grand Piano 1 rather than Grand Piano 2. Grand Piano 1 is more like the Motif Full Concert Grand, while Grand Piano 2 is very similar (if not the same) as the Power Grand found in the original Motif 6/7/8 (Classic).

My sisters and I want to record our voices with the music. Does this machine have an input to allow us to do that?

Why do they always play the saxes in these keyboard demos? If there is one instrument (besides the human voice) that can really never be even faintly close to realisticly reproduced on any type of keyboard, it's the saxes. They have an extremely complex sound and the articulation (as with any wind instrument) is notoriously TOO complicated to reduce it to a simple ADSR-curve with a release sound. Why do they demonstrate these wimpy sounds every time?
