Excellent skills! I've only discovered your viddyas from the shmups forum. Ninjas could do anything back in the '80s and '90s it seems. :D

stage 5 is such bullshit with the spiders and that purple guys, also that health pickup in the end was very well calculated damn

Man, I still haven't put the time into this one after doing Shatterhand. Played a few levels in but never bothered to go back to it. Do you prefer Kaede over Hayate?

As far as I know, both characters play the same - I prefer Kaede's Shatterhand-esque jump frame to Hayate's slightly goofy-lookin' one, though. :D

Yep, both characters play identically, only their little voice clips are different.

It's "Shadow of the Ninja" in NTSCU, and "Blue Shadow" in PAL - both versions have some balance changes, IIRC, but it's a great game either way!
