South Indian food is known for its bold flavors and unique ingredients. In this video, I challenge myself to eat 10 of South India's most popular foods, from street food to restaurant dishes.

@@yanoftheworldIt's capital Shillong is called the Scotland of the East & Meghalaya, The Abode of Clouds. It's in India but is nothing like India from the topography, the climate, the people & culture as well.

@@yanoftheworldWe have 1700 caves some of which are 30+km long, 500+ Living Root Bridges, 300+ Waterfalls, 50+ Sacred Groves, Crystal Clear rivers, heaviest rainfall in the planet (in monsoons) and the culture follows the Matrillenal System. The most popular being the Living Root Bridges which is a wonderful bio-engineering feat with some of the bridges being 500-600 years old.

South of Goa state then you get the proper South Indian food. Goa is still considered West India not South India.

I didn't know Goan Vindaloo was a thing! Thanks for the heads up, will definitely try it! Was thinking of doing a video of me trying to find the spiciest curry I could find 🤔

@@yanoftheworld Oh yah, the Vin is natively Goan. Each state has its specialties. Also try Prawn Balchao, Mussels Rawa Fry and Fish Recheado, KulKul, Goan Fish Curry , Goan Squid Fry, Perad and Kulkul, goan biscuits.
