Ehhh for me it's the opposite. I knew roughly what the characters looked like (if you showed a picture of them to me I would have a rough guess about who they were), but know absolutely nothing about the game. My girlfriend plays this and has showed me on discord (then again my memory isnt the best so i somewhat forgot this game existed), but the absolute confusion was fun to deal with.

The fact Jolie was acting like a yandere first 😭 At this point Yandere Sam doesn't have red flags, he is the red flag. He woke up everyday and chose violence, that's for sure 😥 I would love to keep my tongue yk? "The taste reminds you of boundaries." tbh this just makes me want a mod that let's the farmer be a yandere. Or even, imagine a mod add-on for these yandere-romancable-npc's, that makes it so the farmer is ALSO a yandere. Sam is in his 20s around the same age as Sebastian. Beer and wine are actually some of Sam's liked gifts in the game. Wine and snacks sounds pretty much Sam's speed, since there's lots he could do without needing any real cooking skills. This mod definitely skews more towards violence than the Elliott one.

@joliefish - I think it's more a matter of Jodi treating him like he's younger than he is. Sam and Sebastian are both interested in stuff like gaming and music, so their interests skew equally young. They hang out together often. They both talk about pulling pranks (often on each other). They both live at home, and they both have part-time jobs and talk about plans for moving out. Neither knows how to cook because their mothers have always done it (though Sam will still make a couple of simple dishes for the player after marriage and Seb talks about maybe learning). Sam also spends part of the first year taking Vincent to the beach to help take care of him and helps Vincent deal with his fears for their dad. What seems to make the big difference in most player's memories is Jodi freaking out over the dropped egg and her coming into Sam's room during the 10 heart event. Jodi has a bit of a story about getting married young and overcoddling her sons instead of helping them grow up though. It's even alluded to in Sam's post marriage dialogue where he worries about Vincent on that front in a couple of different dialogues. Gaining maturity is a big Sam arc post marriage (his summit dialogue is very much about how much he's grown). He and Seb both very much have stories about how they find themselves after getting married and getting away from their families. But they both are pretty much the same in terms of starting maturity when you break it down.
