If someone opened their home and family to me, I'd appreciate it. The way she threatened them with a Tell-All book is all the way wrong and the definition of betrayal.

When Mendeecees and Yandy told her that she had to get an apt, I think it was really mature of Infinity to understand that her reaction to the situation may have been a trauma response and that she is not seeing the situation correctly because of her trauma. That type of self-awareness can only come if you are going to therapy.

It’s so sweet to see Infinity with the kids, you can tell how much they love each other. I really feel for her, she’s obviously been through a lot. I hope that Yandy truly understands the emotional responsibility of taking in a traumatized child and doesn’t add to her trauma but helps her heal. She needs to be held!!! Hug her and love her!!

I completely understand why infinity is the way she is. Being in the system completely changes you in the worst way. Life becomes nothing but survival. You become untrustworthy of everybody and you use anything and everything against everybody to protect yourself. It takes a lot of love and support to unlearn those things and unfortunately, even when we have it, we ruin it because we just don’t trust anyone. We burn bridges and end up feeling abandoned even though it was our fault. It takes a lot of self-accountability to get over it.

As someone who grow up in the system I feel the pain this young lady is feeling

Infinity is young and she's made mistakes. It hurts the most when you feel like the people who are supposed to be there for you aren't supporting you in the ways that you need. I hope she finds the love she deserves and so desperately craves.

Yandy took in a girl who had been abandoned multiple times and has clear abandonment issues and then as soon as her husband got out of jail, all of sudden she's too much to handle. I'm sorry, but to me it looks like Infinity was a project for Yandy while Mendeecees was in jail.

She is not ready to be on her own. She clearly communicated this and if you chose the responsibility to adopt, your love and support needs to be unconditional, as if you birthed them. Infinity definitely needs therapy to work out her abandonment issues but Yandy needs to also learn how trauma can affect children. The more you know the better you can navigate these situations.

It’s so sad that this relationship felt conditional. Infinity was only welcomed as long as she acted like a perfect little angel 🙄 Come on. That’s unrealistic! People make mistakes, especially young kids! I have a 16 year old myself, and she drives me crazy at times. But I would never in a million years kick her out. To have this kind of expectation is detrimental to the longevity of any relationship. Especially when committing to the roll of a foster parent. She didn’t hurt anyone physically. It was a threat that many people make out of anger and hurt. She owned up to it and apologized and seemed VERY genuine about it. What’s heartbreaking is that she didn’t care about them helping her get an apartment. Who at that age would not want to be independent and make their own rules?! If I told my daughter I’m going to help her get an apartment, she’d jump at the opportunity! That’s what you get from a teen who’s been smothered with love. Not one that’s desperate for it! Yea she may have screwed up, said some things in the heat of the moment, but who hasn’t?! As long as she accepts her wrongs and is willing to put in the hard work to be better, that’s all that matters! I pray Infinity finds her way.. you got this girl!

This hit me hard. I was 17 and lost on who I was as a person and where I was going in life. When I was most confused, I needed guidance and love. My mom kicked me out instead and told me she didn’t want a relationship with me. For years after that fact I tried so hard to reconcile with her and she’s denied it every time. This child is pleading to be loved and accepted and to hear that you can’t stay because it jeopardizes someone else’s security makes you feel like a problem. It makes you feel alone and abandoned. She wants someone to stand up for her and protect her and she sees that in Yandy. She expressed that. I wouldn’t have told her she couldn’t stay there until I exasperated all of my options coming to find out she could get an emergency hearing in 2 days smh. I also don’t like her telling her she has “rules and regulations”… you could’ve said it in a different way in my opinion. Don’t adopt or take in a child you’re not fully capable or ready to take care of.

I came from foster care system from Colombia & got adopted into USA & then readopted again, although she went though trauma I honestly don’t think Yandy or mandecees was being hard on her, she’s older now so helping her become an young adult which she is is the best thing they can do for her and also get her some therapy. I too once didn’t listen and hated reprimand from parents but it was just because I wanted to feel secure and loved, but I wouldn’t act out in the way she did in order to get my way, specially with a public family like them. I feel for both parties and see both point of views. I think she’s still stuck in trauma as a little girl and wants to be taken care of which is how I once was, but what she doesn’t realize is one your 18 your free from anybody controlling where you go & when you go, your free to create your own family

I NOW have mad respect for Yandy!! She trying to help Infinity during a difficult time in her life is admirable, even tho she has kids of her own. Am adopted so I can relate to what Infinity is going thru. It tough with the trust issues, but she getting decent persons willing to help her and she betraying that trust, really hard to bounce back from. May the Heavenly Father grant each person in this situation, wisdom and grace to make the right decisions going forward.

I definitely get the way infinity feels. I had my mother there but emotionally I didn't have her sometimes physically I didn't have her. So to have yandy come along and show her the love that every girl needs and wants I definitely get it but I have my mom the upmost respect now because that's who made me who I am today. Yes I mightve been a teen mom but I graduated high school on time walked across the stage with my head held high, got my own place at 18 when my mom and her bf told me that I couldn't live in their house with a child because they weren't helping me. my dad seen me trying and helped me get my 1st car. I enrolled at Benedict college with my child and my apartment without my parents even knowing and still graduated college on time during the pandemic and had my 2nd daughter just months before graduating. I feel like yandy and mendeeces where doing the right thing. It was all love and support that truth be told I barely had and now my parents have more respect for me to this day. So I definitely get both sides to the situation from yandy and mendeeces to infinity and I wish them the best. It took me to go to therapy also which could be a great thing for infinity but I realized self-awareness of situations that I have to grow from.

As a mother, Yandy recognizes that infinity isn’t ready. She’s been deprived of that motherly love that she’s so desperately looking for, not saying that excuses her issues, but when you take on a foster child you take on everything & that’s something yandy hopefully talked to her husband about before hand bc he is coming off as excluding infinity from the kids when she’s been apart of that dynamic for so long.

I'm now beginning to understand why Kimbella was saying wat she said on the reunion and the show, and I quote she said "I hope that you're doing this for the right reasons" coming from one of yandy's closest Best Friends (Kimbella) for her to say that she must've seen some things that we didn't or don't see behind the cameras. Moral of the story it's giving storyline.

The audacity of Mendece to not show Infinity any mercy, interestingly, this is coming from someone that’s been given mercy, over and over again. The hypocrisy is overwhelming. He has been in prison many of times and his babies mothers has extended their grace, he doesn’t want Yandy’s attention elsewhere. Yes, Infinity’s behavior was unacceptable, however, if she was THEIR daughter, they would not have thrown her out. You do not use adoption as a storyline.

I feel sorry for her but regardless of what she's been through she's gonna have to grow up... Just because they wanted her in her own apartment doesn't mean they're throwing her to the side. I could understand the tears if she hadn't done anything wrong. But she broke that trust and once it's broken, it's not easy to get back. I was in foster care my entire life and I've always wanted something like this to just understand we need love too. Seeing Infinity go through the ups and downs and all of that was relatable in so many ways. Ive never been the type to speak up about how I really felt like she did instead I acted out behavior wise. However, I always said I will never let my situation define me or my future and I stood by that forever. Threats is something ive done as well but it was well because of how I was being treated and it was known not just for no reason. I pray over her hurt in her life for healing and growing to understand life is what you want it to be. The system completely changes you especially when you enter your first bad home its defense mode for the rest of your life with anybody. You get mistreated so bad you tend to think thats how the world is and people can never be nice. I ran away from every single one of my foster homes and had one more to go to which was when I was 11, if I didn't I would be in a group home for until I turned 18. I seen my mood change and my attitude worsen because I didn't wanna be there and I came from abuse with my family and neglect. You see life so much different. I been in and out since my actual birth until my parents completely got their rights taken away. I prayed long and hard for God to just heal my heart so I wouldn't dare neglect myself and was on survival mode ever since. Its like you have to be strong so nobody will play with you or touch you and if you cry you're seen as weak, especially growing up in la. I thank God for where I am now because omg seeing this is just a reminder of how far God has brought me and the rest of the youth with worse or same experiences. Now im majoring in Psychology because of this

I am 20 and I was adopted when I was 3 because my baby sister was murdered by my mother. The family I was adopted by my grandpa but once he passed away I was not with my biological family. I was abused and a personal caregiver. I grew up hating myself, never loving what I looked like…still to this day my insecurities eat me alive and I’m working on it. But I was on the streets from 14 to 18. I was working full time first at Burger King then little Caesars, going to school getting good grades. It was so hard going to school trying to be normal when I see all these happy kids that come from 2 parent homes even if their parents were divorced I was so envious. I would have to go to the nurse everyday and ask for crackers because I never had money for lunch and at some point they gave me free lunch but they stopped because my guardian wouldn’t apply me for it. My school had to give me clothes, hygiene products literally anything a parent would do my school would do. And I would have to beg them because I was on the street with no one to help me. If I ask my mother for help with food she tells me I’m using her. I’m so grateful for the people who have spared me a couple dollars or helped me in any kind of way because I wouldn’t be alive if no one hadn’t. I laid down in the middle of the road when I was 18 and I just cried and begged for someone to run me over and I was on a busy road and no one hit me. God was keeping me here for some reason. My only dream I’ve ever had is to be in the position to be able to help other people. I don’t wanna just throw somebody a fish and only let it feed them for the time being I want to actually teach the person how to go out there and catch that fish with their bare hands because I would hope I would hope and I pray every day and I asked for God to have someone show me how to fish with my bare hands because as soon I learn the game I WILL be spreading the wealth because ain’t no one ever putting me or my future kids out. Period.

After watching everything I can conclude that whatever age she was abandoned she’s stuck and can’t get past that. She’s broken and we need to recognize that.

I was a foster parent and Guardian ad litem ( representing the interest of the child in court) Every foster child is not the same. Some children fit in well with their foster home BUT some children have emotional and behavioral issues and no amount of love will ever make them trust someone, some children are so use to negative feedback that they will create situations just to get it.

I always agree on adopting and helping one soul who have no family guidance or financial help, to strive in their younger adult times, so that they are ready for the future ahead. Wow wow wow. I NEVER liked Yandy, at all actually. But I had no idea about the situation with that child from the foster home. I really respect her a lot for doing that. God knows her heart is big. That's one thing nobody can take from her. 💜

To be honest dealing with anybody who has experienced this level of trauma is difficult. They can manipulate you so easily with sob stories. Not negating anything this girl has been through as a child, but people often use their trauma as a way to validate their bad behavior and stay stuck in their ways. Once you get a certain age, accountability needs to be second nature. Yandy should not have took this girl in without her husband being present. This is why a man leads, because clearly all of Yandy's decisions in this particular situation was emotion based. She needed logic from her man.
