I think it's ironic how Yoseob and Gikwang were saying that they were expecting too much and having a big head because us, Lights, know that in reality they aren't like that in real life :)

I read the book and watched the movie a while back. Still haven't finished reading the last page because my poor heart can't accept the ending. Would absolutely recommend it to those who like books like 'A walk to remember' and 'The fault in our stars'.

I wouldn't. I loved a walk to remember, but Me before You just felt like a book filled with all of the typical tropes and the movie wasn't any better

Oh. Highlight is still allowed to sing Beast's Songs? I thought they were forbidden as they left the company and the group name already. 🤔

Krystal Chi They're allowed to "cover" them, so as long as the studio version doesn't appear they should be alright (and fiction doesn't appear enough anyway/I think it has to appear a set number of seconds for the copyrights to come into question 🤔) The only song they really sing in this program is Caffeine and the rights belong to Junhyung (and Taejoo) as a producer, so there should be no problem there... 😊 They've actually sung songs like fiction, shock and soom at their last concert so I'm gonna assume they found a way to sing even their first songs that Junhyung didn't produce (not sure if they had to pay though... 🤔)

Old songs that were not produced by the members, yes. But then Shinsadong Tiger who produced many of their older hits said that it would be okay as long as they rearrange it (so it would be like a cover). Not sure abt other songs. But then again I am not aware of songs that were not produced by the members or by Shinsadong Tiger.

They are allowed. The producer of 2009-2012 Shinsandong Tiger had given them the consent of using their old song to sing it. For 2013 and up Goodlife are the producers which is basically Junghyun and Taejoon. Basically what cube has is that the profits and trademark of Beast so for example if they want to use fiction for something all approvals and etc. goes to cube because they own it. But to sing it by Highlight members has no problem at all.
