My father was in Burma during WWII; he used to recall many good memories of his stay there... i have only visited Moreh-Tamu. But hopefully, will be able to make a full visit at at least once in the future...

Please Burmese were never Hindus!! They were in constant war with the Manipuris and the Ahoms in olden days. In fact, Hinduism came to Manipur and converted some people in the valley but never went beyond.

Burma ( Myanmar ) was annexed by British Government so basically for some time Burma remained a Part of India. After 1935 Burma was separated. For sometime our RBI worked as a Central Bank of Burma. Rangoon ( Yangoon ) was Military Headquarters of INA Indian National Army which was headed by Subhas Chandra Bose Ji Famous Hindi song " Mere Piyaa Gaye RANGOON vahan se Kiya h Telephone ☎️ .....

In fact even most of the northeastern states were part of India only administratively. In doing so, they were separate administrative law for its governance. They were forcefully made to sign the merger after the British left
