weve been giving DJ time for about 3 years now his last truly productive season was the covid 2020 season. he turns 36 next month, is injury riddled and i dont think the bat speed is there anymore time to cut ties

Orioles fan here. Looking forward to the showdown You guys will need to be on top of your game but I feel you will be up for this series and it will be quite entertaining. You won't have to face Burnes which is a plus for you My Orioles taking 2 of 3 from the Phillies and Atlanta after sweeping Tampa Bay is no small task. Yanks need to be at the top of their game to beat Baltimore.

To use tk's little league analogy, Certain teams always steal games from you that they shouldn't just cuz off who they are; not how good they are. The rays always do this to the Yankees, the astros, and some random NL team usually as well during the course of the season. The thing to learn is that if we have an overperfoming but mediocre pitcher, teams like this will expose him. If we have guys who are swinging the bat like they got no business doing, this type of team will have nothing better to do than expose them. This, the dodgers, and the Baltimore series are a better teacher for how to navigate a game than any winning streak is. Do the Dawgs still hunt when the other team lights fireworks?? We're gonna find out

That was not good last night. :-( But we will recover and get our s**t together. We do have some moves we need to make at trade deadline. Tanner Scott for the BP ;-) . It felt like the Yanks took a Qualude before the game for sure. DJ is moving in slow motion. Now Rizzo will probably be out, does this rush Ben Rice up ? I dont think yet. Torres... i honestly would love to see him go at trade deadline and most dont see this happening, i think we may be shocked about this at the deadline. Thats my thoughts about that. As Forest Gump would say "Thats all i have to say about that" haha. Thanks as always for the videos :-)

I liked "Louis Severino!" He was an Excellent Pitcher, however, we'll never know the whole truth behind the Baseball now would we? Ever since Cole came back, YANKEEZ are losing back-to-back Games, what gives? Trade Cole Now! You'll see a BIG DIFFERENCE!

They are not about to call Peraza up when he’s hitting under .200 , he is beyond cooked with this franchise . He will meet the same fate as other Yankee prospects that didn’t pan out, they’ll call another infielder up before they call him up , he’s had his chances but he just can’t hit at the major league level

@@waynepatrick1646 he will either rot in the minors or be dfa’d but he won’t fetch anything significant in a trade he’s 24 now , was once a top prospect and that time has came & gone . Too many holes in that swing with him being only a pull hitter , he won’t go the other way and that’s easy for MLB teams to scout and game plan against , maybe he can salvage his career in another organization but his time with the Yankees is done , his “development” as cashman would say seems complete to me this is who he is with the bat , think about it! If he’s hitting below .200 in AAA what do people think he’s going hit at the major league level?

Thank you, Derek, for being such a reasonable fan. You are very careful with how you describe this team even when they play in an ugly fashion. Too many yankee fans let a single series determine their outlook on the rest of the season, and to be honest, it makes me want to smash my phone sometimes. You take the opportunity to just point out flaws the team needs to address without losing your mind and giving up on the team.

Gleyber has put up decent to good numbers in the past, but if you look beyond the headline stats, he is not a winning player. That K with the bases loaded just goes down as an out for his record, but it cost the team a chance to take the lead. Timing is everything in life, especially in baseball.
