@Ali Cuntë I know that the 6LPA is basically a 1HD-FT at 4.2 liters and Yanmar uses the same valve cover as you'd find on Toyota's version. This 6LY model is quite a bit larger at 5.8 liters. I wonder if it's a stroked 1HD.

Yes, straight six turbo aftercooled. Very compact for the power output.
