That was very gracious of Yanni to have Melissa join him on stage. I love to watch him play and that would have been an awesome experience to watch his hands up close and personal. I think Yanni was bit nervous, but glad he made her dream come true, Nice !

To Jeff: I would be nervous. 1:20 minutes, receiving a warning -- double nervous. I would have declined. This is the wrong era and modern times to be fooling around in any veiled forward flirtatious friendliness.

When you put someone outside of his/her comfort zone, you expose that person's real side. Yanni revealed himself as a pure gentleman, as well as an excellent artist.

To A Bit of Thought: It depends. This situation was trite. Yanni could have said no, straight away. At 1:21 was the real uncomfortable zone: receiving a warning; so the deal should have been off. Yanni, though, was on stage interacting with the audience, he would have shown restraint, anyway.

This is the first time I've heard this as an acoustic version. And amazing, this was the first music I heard on CD back in 1982. I went with some friends to a local mall in Dayton, OH, and a record store (remember those ?) had placed speakers outside the store entrance facing the mall passage, and turned way up, and as we entered the mall, that was what we heard. Of course, I was hooked, and started my CD collection that night.

What an amazing thrill that must have been for her. We took our Mother to see Yanni at Blossom Music center one summer. It was an amazing nite. Mom is passed now. Brings tears to my eyes. An unforgetable nite

Ahhhhh, love. I first saw Yanni on PBS, USA, 1995. His music calmed me during my recuperating time from a total knee replacement. His softer music is more enjoyable for me, at the age of 76. Thank you, Yanni.
