the great thing about YANNI is he honor his parents while they r still alive & after just imagine how proud of them then.! His falitsa was happy & so proud of her boy! Saw her on ' YANNI LIVE AT THE ACROPOLIS DVD.' THE DVD. TO REMEMBER &TREASURE!.

Your Dad was such a great philosopher and you are following in his footsteps. Your Mom was an angel and could tell they both loved you so. Very well balanced family. And yes, the simple things are the most beautiful , precious, and free. So important to appreciate nature and natural beauty. Love you always...please keep doing what you do. I was SO mad just now, at a conversation I had with my mother, but now I'm back to being calm again. THAT'S what YOUR music can do. I will always cherish the day I saw you in concert. I was in Kalamata last week, Yanni's birthplace. I looked for and found his parents house by the sea . How many wonderful happy moments have taken place within those walls. Today is seems it is rarely occupied. Would be nice if Yanni visited more or decided to move in Kalamata.

Yanni, you are so luck to have been blessed with wonderful parents who loved you and provided you with caring and supportive love that many of us have been cheated. I've often heard that to feel love and to show love, first you must be loved. Bless your parents who gave their children the best blessing that cannot be had with any amount of money. Your gift of music is one of greatest of all to humanity, it will be your legacy. Thank you.

7:05-7:10 broke my heart. When I arrived in the States for grad school I only had 50 dollars in my pocket and two bags, one with my clothes and one with my books. Nothing else. Didn't get too much help. Felt a lot of indifference from my family. It's been a while now and things are better, but still, those are things that for good or bad you will never ever forget.
