Kenzie wiping her eyes gets me. I hope those were legit tears of pride AND sadness for the deer. When I shot my first grouse at 6 years old I teared up a bit and my dad said that if I didn't do that on my first kill, I wouldn't be a good hunter. Respect for the game, and respect to the hunter. Damn yappy/Tristan don't EVER let kensey go brother!!! She is a winner, that is a hunters dream come true!! Love the part in the truck when Tristan is on the phone all psyched up and someone spends the whole time fixing her hair for all too see in the pitch dark and then at the end she is helping drag the deer out damn!!! Rip that beautiful buck and rip to "the freak" if you know what I'm referring too ;)

Congrats, great first buck ... It was cool watching her process what just happened... The adrenaline rush that follows a kill shot is powerful.. Her eyes after the arrow hits the deer .. thanks for sharing your experience.

My first time hunting was in Alaska back in 1986. We were flown in and dropped of on the beautiful ridges off the Alaskan mountain range. We were there for 6 days in total. On day 4 I bagged a caribou. What an experience.
