Muhle rocca is the KING no matter what handle you're using. I have done 107 shaves so far with it I never nicked myself. Smoothest, sharpest, sturdiest razor around that is so underrated in the wet shaving community.

Perfect shave. I know sometimes when it’s hot out it can affect our shaves unless u got air conditioning. Love that iced melon. Smells soooooo good

Nicely done Kevy💈💈 Different handles do make a razor shave and feel "different", the geometry changes everything. This soap looked like it worked as good as it could going up against a Feather blade. Fine shave and video with humor as always. Thanks. Enjoy!

Fine shave Kev. The right jawline is also my challenging area to shave clean. I invariably overshave to get that BBS. I like the Rocca quite much. Yaqi I see also sells a stand that is compatible with this handle. Looks like it would also work with the Rex Ambassador and Merkurs. I do like the feel of the boar bristles. Provides some exfoliating action I suppose.

My personal opinion and experience is that weight of the razor has little or no bearing on the shave efficiency. It's more of a perception or mind games playing tricks. I have shaved with very light razors and very heavy razors and sometimes lighter razors perform better and sometimes the other way around. It is mostly depending on head geometry. Yes you might get a different feel as you are used to the weight and a particular way of handling or moving the razor around but that's it.

Nice shave. Thanks. I've had the Rocca R96 (v4) for almost 3 years and to this day, whenever its in rotation, am never fully at ease shaving. Yes it is "teutonically perfect" but (for me) remains unforgiving in case of distraction. Not exactly the sort of razor I would recommend for relaxed, daily shaves.

Hey Kevy, GREAT shave. I just got me a bottle of paco roban about 3 weeks ago. Love it!! I am very excited also about a new razor! I just bought a 1944 Gillette Regent Tech with the box. Very very rare razor yo find. First razor Gillette made after they lifted the brass ban in WW 2. Its also a Franken razor. They put a Ranger Tech with end caps head on it and a Aristocrat handle, gold plated. Cant wait to get it!!!

Great shave. When you complained about the sun shining, I was like “what’s wrong with you?!” and “are you alright?”. The Muhle Rocca razor sounds interesting for me to add on to my list. I said it one time that I like heavy handles because they give me control of the glide and make lighter heads a little bit better. I’m not against lighter handles, but it’s just my personal preference. Have a great day

Faucet looks French. (?) To be fair, we call it a tap as well. Not sure what the difference is! No matter which word we use, the water that comes out is called tap water. (?) That Yaqi soap looks pretty good!

Great shave man. My shave for the evening will be Zingari Man The Merchant. Then Witch Hazel. Followed by the matching aftershave balm. Going to be a great shave this evening I have a feeling. I have The Watchman and want to use it but I have the matching balm on the way so I have to wait lol. You did ask what we would be using today/weekend haha.

Thank you for making these videos, Kevy! They are informative and fun to watch, a gold mine for newbies like myself. There’s other shaving KZfaqrs out there of course, but none with your humorous touch. Also, no other go into the forest etc for a shave. You rock! In this video you used a Mühle with a YaQi handle. Some say that most of the Mühle razors have the same head (W/WO open comb), only with different handles. Is that true? What’s your opinion? Again, thanks for your efforts making new episodes!

Thanks Sten. I wouldnt say all the Muhle geads are the same, quite the opposite. I think they are all different. For exam3ole the Muhle R41 head shaves much more aggressively than the R89 head. Kevy 🙂

You sure look like you've been in the sun. Any glue is to much glue, Voskhod is the only blade I've ever used that comes with no glue. I love my Boar brush, if I could only choose one that would be it. Thanks for the shave Kevy... I know Billy Idol. I wish I didn't remember White wedding...

Hello Kevy please anwser me! i just saw Yaqi released "pina colada" scent in their soaps, dude, they REALLY use Essential oils in their ingredients? in that case maaaaaaybe the high price of their soaps it's a little bit justifiable but still high... i love that scent i dindt saw a soap with pina colada before.

Rinse it out until all the soap has disappeared and then leave it upside down with the lid off for a couple of days before putting it back in the shave den. Kevy 🙂

Yeah why not. Kevy is not arrogant. He could shave with literally everything. That's a good thing. He is not just a wet shaver, but a collector. Besides Yaqi didn't make these soaps. It would be impossible, they don't have the knowledge. Fernando, the artisan, collaborated to make these for them using his standard ingredients as with his other soaps. And I strongly believe that is a good soap for the price, just seeing Kevy's lather. And if someone sends you something for free it would be rude not to try it.

Out of curiosity, are there toffee puddings that are NOT sticky? Scots, like the rest of us Northern Europeans are basically sun-worshippers. There are even Scottish (hence, not shite!) bands with hits about sunshine. Nazareth had one when you were 4 or 5 (Sunshine) and there's a more recent one (sounding much mort Scottish) - even if it is from the ‘wrong’ side of the Forth of Firth from you: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kNN1f7ZhmMWYg6M.html.

Hi Kevy, you have got the semogue 620, semogue 1305 and the SOC. Which is your favourite and why? Is there a real difference besides the handle? What are the respective strengths and weaknesses? Until now I preferred synthetic brushes like the Mühle black fibres (easy to face lather, nice backbone and great for traveling) but want to expand a bit into boar hair brushes. Cheers from Germany
