Prophet Yaqub (pbuh) was born in Palestine and was the son of Prophet Ishaq (pbuh). He is known for leading his life in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, spreading the message of the Oneness of God, and advising followers to pray and give in charity. During his lifetime, he travelled to the north of Iraq, returned Palestine and eventually settled in Egypt where he passed away. He was buried in Hebron, Palestine, along with his father, according to his final wishes. Here's his story.

Proud to have a prophet of Allah's name past down through my family for hundreds of years. The name would skip a generation and only one grandson would get it. Amongst my jaddi's eight grandson. I bear the name aswell. Allahu Akbar!!!!

Salaam alaykoem it is allah swt who guides his creation and this channel is the sabab (the instrument)6 that allah swt uses to guide whom he wants, salaam alaykoem.

Brother I believe you got this wrong, he married Rafika (Rebekah) and his son Yaqub married Rachel. I know this because it is my name and I know this story well. Also Rachel is the mother of Yusuf and Benyamin.

Asslam u Alaikum I Have A Bit Confusion Whether I Am Wrong Or Right But According To My Search Isaac, also known as Ishaq in Islam, was the son of Abraham and Sarah. He married Rebekah (Rivka) Not Rachell While Rachell was the daughter of Laban and the younger sister of Leah. Leah And Rachell Both Are The Wives Of Prophet Yaqoob(Jacob)

This seems inconsistent. Rekekkah was mother of Jacob. Yakub married Leah and Rachel and 2 other concubines. Joseph was son of Rachel
