Cette histoire me touche personnellement, parce que, je n'ai pas vu voir ma grand-mère pendant près de 10 ans. Il y a 4 ans, ma mère m'a offert le plus beau des cadeaux, pouvoir la retrouver. Trois ans plus tard, nous avons décidé, avec mes parents, de partir vivre près d'elle. Aujourd'hui, Elle a retrouvé une certaine joie de vivre.

Yvette , MOI,JE,je ne l a sent pas, a mon avis, y a eu bcp de chose qui on fait que son pere a du lui manquer éternellement.. et c est la jeune qui va morfler, elle semblait équilibrer en 20sec elle est aneantie je suis touchée par elle, elle est une victime collatéral des grands et de leurs histoire

En 10min elle s'est prise une salve de rappels de l'absence de son père, elle n'a vraiment pas été suffisamment ménagée et préparée. Quand la grand-mère annonce que son père n'est pas au courant, on voit à sa réaction que depuis qu'elle voit sa grand-mère c'est à son père qu'elle pense

IN MY VIEW Sometimes ADULTS want to erase a child's other family. This is wrong because the child's family is the child's family! The child has a right to their bloodline and history, just like adults do.

This woman isn't particularly sympathetic. "She's my little girl..." No, she's not. Since when do grandparents have some claim on time with the child? It appears that all this woman cares about is herself. Plus she's rude and continually interrupts the hosts, talking over them. Further, her excuses as to why she didn't appear sooner were very weak. She already has four grandchildren, yet she seems obsessed with this one. Very self-absorbed.

What do you know about a grandmother's heart and her love to her grandchildren? Why do you automatically judge her badly? Don't you think that maybe she really has a hole in heart for missing this granddaughter? Never jump to conclusions especially when there is no need to.

@@opalenoire9524 Thank you. I was not aware of that. However, it reminds me of a quote from Charles Dickens: "The law is an ass - an idiot." I don't know case law in France, but what about situations where the grandparent was abusive, or still is abusive, to the child's parents? Are the parents forced to incur legal expense, and emotional expense, to fend off the grandparents?

@@mrtech2259 Her "love" for this grandchildren appears as nothing more than a desire to possess, control and smother. Did you not see how she tried to blanket her when they met? As for a hole in her heart, we're talking about a child (now adult) she doesn't even know, or barely knew. I'm not jumping to conclusions, just commenting on what I saw. It wouldn't surprise me if her other grandchildren want little or nothing to do with her because of her rudeness and control issues.
