2021 Update: • Hose Irrigation Update...
I planted a hedge, and watering manually took forever. I looked into irrigation methods, and found the two most popular ways: drip irrigation and soaker hose. I’ve done drip irrigation before, but I didn’t want to spend the money on all the parts, and wanted more volume of water. I didn’t like the soaker hose idea either, because I would be unnecessarily soaking space in between my shrubs.
I didn’t see anyone talk about just drilling holes into a cheap hose, so I decided to try it out.
Parts:
4x 50 foot light duty hose ($10 each)
2x hose caps
1x Hose T adaptor (or Y) with valves
The video shows other stuff, like an electric value, but that isn’t needed for the end goal.
