I have been wanting a large Yard Yahtzee game forever and finally made one and had to share how easy and inexpensive it was with you. This is the start of me sharing several DIY Gift Ideas with you.

My husbands uncle made one of these sets for our family reunion auction. Makes me want to play Yahtzee! We used to play it a lot when the kids were growing up. My sister had to have several spots removed from her nose last year. She’s like you now, she is enacted about wearing sunscreen. She eve switched her makeup to something that was spf protective. Love your videos, and OK is the same as Tx. Tornadoes in the morning with heavy rain aand hail then 100+ in the afternoon!

I love this idea. So fun. I can't wait to make this for my G-Babies. They will love it ♥️ I buy scrap wood for almost all of my wood projects. I do get alot of my wood from home builders. If I see a new home being built or a home restoration I ask if I can take some of their scrap wood. They always say yes. That's my kinda price, lol I always get my home center to cut it to size. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for speaking about skin cancer and protective measures. We were just talking about this subject over the weekend. My husbands best friend and also his brother had surgery recently. Both fair redheads. Both did’t use sunblock either. Now we’re in our mid sixties and realize they’re paying now for skin damage done a long time ago. Love this Yahtzee idea!

I’m definitely going to be making these! I love my miter saw but would die trying to cut a 4x4!! Definitely use it for small cuts of wood.

I love this video. I've actually got it on my list to do something similar for myself for family camping! However, I do want to point out that when I think of yard dice then i think of wet grass from dew or rain and kids with drink that can and most likely be spilt on the dice. Also, they could be in the Sun all day. With all of that, I would not suggest modge podge as that will not protect the dice from the wear and tear of being used outside. The sealant should be something that will not only help with water but also the sun. The have lots of budget friendly options at Lowe's or home depot to protect a wood project for this. Otherwise I absolutely loved your tutorial. I love Bing watching your channel.

Super awesome!! I am excited to make some sets as gifts as well. I actually purchased a set from someone and they packaged in a 5 gallon bucket with a single laminated score sheet and a dry erase marker. Love the laminated sheet and dry erase but other than it looks cool- the 5 gallon bucket isn’t practical. The basket you are using is fantastic because you can shake the set and roll so much more easily. Shaking a 5 gallon bucket and rolling...not so easy. As always, fabulous job on your project and video!

That’s awesome! I wondered where she found the sheet to laminate as it didn’t look “homemade”...bet she ordered and maybe made copies...glad you mentioned...I am going to take a peek on amazon as well. 👍🏻👏🏻 it really is a super fun game and I am sure it’s number one on your friends list! I just looked at amazon and saw a score sheet like what was included in my game. Also saw on amazon white buckets with Yardzee decal on it like mine has. I’m sure the lady probably used her cricut to make. I’m really embarrassed I paid $35 for the game when I could have made so much cheaper. 🤦🏼‍♀️ You have re-inspired me! I love the outdoor games ideas and also that you are thinking ahead on Christmas gift ideas that are affordable and sharing ideas! Thank you!

Love this and here’s a little tid bit get Home Depot to cut your squares for you. There could be a small fee for extra cuts but so worth it if you can’t or don’t want to buy a saw.

I love my umbrella!! I would advise adding good sunglasses, as sun exposure can also cause cataracts. I have dealt with the skin cancer and cataracts

Home Depot and Lowe’s will cut them for you. Sometimes they have a limit on cuts but you could try.

Lowe's does not cut smaller than 12". Anything under that is considered crafts & they don't do it for safety.

🎲🎲🎲 GREAT OUTDOOR SUMMER IDEA ! I LIKE THE IDEA OF HAVING 6 DICE 🎲 CAUSE OTHER GAMES AND BE PLAYED AS WELL ! MAYBE THE WHITE OR GREEN STYROFOAM SQUARES FROM THE DT WOULD WORK FOR THE INDOORS AS WELL, I’D HAVE TO SEE IF IT WOULD ROLL ENOUGH ON THE HARD WOOD FLOOR, WE COULD PAINT THEM TOO THAT IS IF IT WORKS ! Love these die!!! Wish I had a miter saw..do you think that home Depot or Lowe's would cut it for you. I know that they will cut wood but I'm not sure if they would do something like that but then again why not?! Gimme your opinion please.

I don't know what a miter saw is, I've got a circular saw. Mine isn't mounted on a table like yours.

I know that on each dice, the opposites should always equal 7, so 6 should be opposite of 1, 5 of 2, etc. Did you make sure that they all did, or does it not matter. I’m not sure what the reasoning is behind the 7 rule. Maybe it’s just to make them uniform across all games?

@@LittleBitofCalmCrazy I like that yours are alot bigger. And we just got a miter saw yesterday for $20 at the flea market and I may have some scrap 4 x 4s, so I am ready :) Cut all the pieces for a farmhouse ladder in about 2 minutes. Awesome !
