Huda Nasir technically, no one should go over the speed limit. It’s the fast lane but it’s still supposed to be the speed limit

Impatient road ragers will get pissed off but driving in the left lane at the speed limit is allowed. People need to learn to relax and calm down.

It's safer for everyone if you drive the with the flow of traffic. if the traffic in the lane you're in is trying to pass you and cant then you should move or speed up. Going the speed limit in the lane that was literally created so traffic could pass slower traffic is "allowed", it's just not safe. In big cities with a lot of traffic, left lanes aren't always used as just passing lanes but typically the rule still applies because the majority of traffic changing speeds is in the right lane where most exits are located, so they're merging on and off the highway.

shantelle foster no. You need to go the speed limit in the left and right line. The only reason it’s called the fast lane is bc unlike the right lane people aren’t merging and breaking to get off the highway. The speed limit is 70...on all lanes

Hayley Santana well here where i live, you must go with the speed of traffic! If traffic is going 115, you have to go 115. If you’re only gonna go 100 you need to get into the right lane and let those going faster over to the left in the fast lane! ......... my dad and 2 brothers are both cops and these words came from their mouths.

And then you will get a speeding ticket for going 15 over the limit. You need to get it out of your head. The speed limit is the speed limit regardless of what lane your in or what state. You keep thinking that and hand over 500+ dollars for speeding. Flow of traffic doesn’t mean shit.

You gotta follow them, you don’t just set your own rules. If your taking your drivers license test and go on the freeway and start going over the speed limit your not gonna pass. Why? Bc it’s illegal and your not supposed to do that. This is common sense. Just because everyone else is doing it dosent mean it’s the right thing to do

We call it the freeway if its in the city but outside of the city we have highways and interstates. Honestly I thought every road she was on before the interstate was a highway because it seemed like she was driving 110 MPH :p

girl sameee, long distance driving on the highway by yourself is so relaxing lol i swear it’s like therapy to me. but atlanta highways are truly something else, it’s like everyone forgets all the rules of the road and they all drive so aggressively which is why its so nerve wracking to new drivers lol

Do you have any tips. I have my license for 3 months already. I live in PA I want to drive to NJ I found 3 ways to get to my destination to NJ. The back Street, the highway with tolls, and the highway without tolls.

@@anegron3285 my tip would be to go really early when there’s hardly any traffic to be a little bit more comfortable. Going to work I used to be on the freeway 3:30 am. The more you drive, the more you’re comfortable. Also , stick to the slow lane and get those new driver please be patient magnets on your vehicle. Those worked for me most of the time. You’ll have a few seasoned drivers show no patience...at least here in California. Go early even if you don’t have to for practice
