The % Armor pen stuff just applies one at a time, against what's left after the last pen item, so it does diminish rapidly. Against their team, you would have penetrated way more by just building lethality, but it was very entertaining.

The way the maths on this build works out, after ulting you deal true damage (or better than true damage!) to a target with 131 or less armour at full build, level 18. The cleaver actually wasn't worth it in this game since none of your opponents were stacking armour. Another lethality item would provide more armour penetration - not that you needed it.

this build gives 30 lethality | 45% armour pen. sell boots (e.g. zeal item), it's 30 | 48%. black cleaver depends on how many hits. ulting gives 50% *bonus* armour pen unfortunately, so it depends on the target. it's a variable % calculation on a % calculation on a variable % calculation, with a final flat reduction with lethality, so it's pretty complicated!

I went ahead and did the math for you. Since Yas ult only gives *bonus* armor pen, it changes the math from champ to champ, but I'll do it for Mord. "The highest amount of percentage armor penetration any champion can obtain is 51.25%." or 68.3125% with Darius. Percent reduction is applied first, so up to 30% from Black Cleaver off the top. Yas gets 50% pen (of bonus armor only) on crits after ulting. At this point in the game (26:20), 56% of Mordekaiser's armor is bonus, so that 50% becomes 28%. With all the % reduction and penetration added up, Mord would effectively be down to 47 armor (from 171) which means his armor was reduced by 72.5%. Adding in 37 lethality (after dashing), and Mord's armor would effectively be 10 (at max Cleaver stacks).

Actually, if you play Dominik and Eclipse, you already have 20% + 35% + 50% armor pen, which is over 100%, or maybe armor pen don't stack additively. And after you add lethality, so just shredding everyone no matter how much armor they have

More efficient build: BT and axiom arc instead of Lord Doms and collector more healing, 100% flat armor and 40 flat armor, to get more armor pen without R u can use sudden impact instead of taste of blood

Mathematically correct riven: conqueror,triumph, legend alacrity, coup de grace, bone plating and the one that says about shields. Build wise go eclipse >ionian or armor/Mr boots>esence reader >ravenous hydra>spirit Visage >death dance I don't really expect u to read it but I try to give content so I hope u read it

Asked of armor calculation Zwag? Here you go. 30% armor reduction on Black Cleaver leaves 70% of enemy armor. 50% pen from crits (ultimate bonus) leaves them at 35% effective armor. 35% reduction of that 35% due to Lord Dominik = 22,75% armor. 4 legendary item Eclispe bonus adding 16% reduction from 22,75% ends up 19,11% armor. So you ignore 80,89% of enemy armor + 30 of whats left due to lethality. That means that you deal True Damage as long as enemy champion have less armor than 157. 157*0,1911-30=0,0027 (baisicly 0)

The effect of the Cleaver doesn't necessarily add to your armor penetration. It reduces your opponents armor by up to 30% and then your armor pen will ignore their summed percentage of the 70% of the armor they have left. They actually die before you get 6 hits on then so it never gets to that either. I think the total armor pen you got (including lethality) was something close to 70%. Since armor has diminishing returns, you got pretty close to true damage on the less armored opponents.

So, since penetration stacks multiplicatively, and if we consider that you fully stacked BC on someone (which implies someone somehow survived 6 hits from you), you are basically negating/ignoring 63.6% of their armor before lethality. At level 18 (when lethality is fully effective), it means you deal true damage to anyone with 82 armor or below. You don't seem to have flat armor reduction, so you can't reduce armor under 0 in order to deal more damage. I'm not sure how the game is rounding things, but one would need more than 85 armor to have the equivalent of 1 armor against you. Someone with 200 armor (67% damage reduction) would only count 43 armor (around 30% damage reduction) against your hits. Someone with 100 armor (50% damage reduction) would only counts 6.4 of it (6% damage reduction) against your hits.

Finally a Yasuo that doesn't end up 0/20/0

okay, so, doing the math, without counting ult and lethality (ult is only if they have bonus armor, which is the first thing BC will take away), you remove 30%, then ignore 55% of the remaining 70%, which is 32.5% armor leftover. so, on someone with, say, 100 armor, you having 30 lethality, they will effectively have 2.5 armor if you're level 18, or 20.5 if you're level 1 with this build, I believe

with full build with boots you get 16% armor pen from eclipse passive+ ldr 35% armor pen it's already 51% armor pen plus the ldr passive 66% and the black cleaver wich adds 30% armor reduction 96% armor pen/reduction + yasuo's ult buff that his crits ignore 50% of the targets armor it's 146% armor pen/reduction

Let's see, 50% bonus armor pen after ulting + 35% from Lord Dominik's Regards + 30% from fully stacked Black Cleaver + 16% from Eclipse's Mythic Passive + Lethality = Over 130% armor penetration in a fight that lasts longer than a few seconds. Adding the fact you do crit and infinity edge passive means you do more damage while doing true damage. I probably made some mistakes since I didn't write anything down so feel free to correct me. Whatever the damage is, it's crazy.

Zwag on Yas

You could feasibly replace boots with OD for extra stats in any crit build without full crit or on yas/yone- gives 5% less laseline attack speed, and slightly less movespeed baseline, but extra AD and more than makes up the lost attack speed and movement soeed when you auto a little. Replacing boots also gets you a little more value out of mythic items since boots don’t count for mythic passives.

If the armor pen stacks additively, then the 50% from ult, 35% from LDR, 30% from BC, and 16% from Eclipse, would add up to 131% Armor Penetration, not accounting for Lethality. If the Armor pen stack multiplicatively, then 100 x.50 x .65 x .70 x .84 = 19.11%, meaning that you would be shredding through ~81% of the enemy's armor. Lethality is applied after the armor pen and with 30 from collector and eclipse, this means that you would do true damage or more to anyone with 157 armor or less.

So I think the way it stack is let's day they have 100 armor. The 30 percent reduction from cleaver makes it 70. Then the 35% pen from ldr makes it around 50. Then the percent pen from your ult so 25. Then flat pen from collector and eclipse. Im pretty sure it goes armor reduction to %armor pen to flat armor pen. But I'm unsure how it works between between abilities and items.

Well according to how armor pen is calculated. Since you have 50% armor pen from ult, 43% from items and 30% reduction from cleaver passive, you would have around 72% armor pen, give or take a percent or two, on top of the lethality you basically deal true damage to anyone who has 155 and below. But of course it doesn't really matter since your crits would deal 800+ to anyone who is squishy. You would need 670 armor to reduce your damage in half. So basically lots of ARMOR. :D

running a python script for calculations, but knowing how armor pen works, the percentage will never reach 100%, it works like tenacity. Lethality counts AFTER percentage pen, so it works for your favor, you deal true damage most likely because of stupidly high percentage + lethality to finish it off running the code (not optimal) by starting off with x = 100 and then decreasing it with the percentage with every next item (as mentioned, works like tenacity), we have: eclipse 16% (4 legendary bonuses), lord dominik's 35% and black cleaver's 24%, giving the final value of x = 41.496, which is the value of armor they will have just because of your items percentage penetration, but we also have yasuo's ult HALVING that amount, so they have just 20.748% of their armor (79.252% armor pen), and at the very end, you have 18 lethality from eclipse and 12 from collector, giving a flat amount of 30 armor pen at level 18. that means, you deal true damage to enemies with about 150 armor (144.59224985540774 to be exact, bad approximation from my side D: ) UNLESS i don't know how yasuo's ult penetration adds, if it ignores that and just adds "flat" 50% regardless we are speaing of over 100% armor pen, but it caps at 100 and lethality can't throw armor below 0, so true damage always oh, and in case you'd sell boots getting another +4% from eclipse, you end up having 80.24% armor pen, with 30 lethality, it's true damage for 151.82186234817817 armor oh, and another edit. considerably BoRK may yield higher damage as it deals stupidly high current health percentage damage, considering you still deal true damage to squishies and almost true damage to tanks, the percentage damage might result in overall higher DPS, also adds attack speed to get your 1.33s Q CD faster and allowing to set up plays like keyblade
