Another joyful moment with the latest retreat group. We worked on this little composition for one day and it’s incredible how it turned out.
This was a „all-levels“ retreat and it’s always astonishing to see how we can flow together, no matter the skill level. It’s about feeling each other 💛

⁠⁠@@MalteMarten These instruments are based on the steel drums, originating in the Islands by slaves who built them from discarded steel drums, enabling them to make music despite intentional systematic deprivation of means to enjoy life or access to accomplishments. The original purpose illuminates the desire and capacity of humans to rise above mankind’s inhumanity to man. Man has dominated man to his harm, (Ecclesiastes 8:9) as humanity doesn’t have the capacity to self govern. (Jeremiah 10:23). Best Gov’t= Matthew 6:9,10

@@kartube641Why are you lying? Hang Drums or as they are also known as Handpans were invented in Bern Switzerland, not in Iceland. This instrument was first designed here in Bern in the Year 2000.

The sheer amount of joy you’re experiencing there in the middle of that group is infectious! Let’s also acknowledge how awesome “ooo” lady sounded in the middle of all those “ahhs”. Very cool video! Great job to everyone who was there, and thank you for sharing!

Beautiful! I wish I was in a similar band. I was in a band and in the choir during my high school years. We all enjoyed it so much. Music promotes peace and friendship, we never had any problems among us.
