Happy to serve as a hebrew speaker! Yavoh means ''Will come''. The song talks about how a son of King David will come as the Messiah and bring us salvation and how the temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem and we'll joyfully sing and go up there like we used to do when there was a temple. Hope it helped! :)

Almost all MBC songs (and most songs by orthodox Jews) are based off of prayers, blessings or scripture, a lot of which is focused on our relationship with G-d and His presence in our lives. This is the reason you see the singers connect with the songs and perform them with a lot of feeling. Just a disclaimer: The Netflix show that you referred to is a hit job on the orthodox-Jewish community by a few disgruntled people and I would suggest that if you have or plan on watching it, you also check out some videos responding/fact checking it by orthodox Jews to get some perspective. Thanks again for your videos!

@@PortuguesePai Yes. These boys are singing specifically with the pronounciation of Ashkenazi Orthodox Jews in the yeshiva world, used a lot in New York Jewish communities. In contrast, Israelis use Sephardic pronounciations. So for example, these kids are saying ya-voy, whereas an Israeli would say ya-voh. Another example, their vi-yee-gah-lai-new, would be more like vi-yi-gah-leh-new in Israel. That's because American English has rounder vowel sounds.

Also, the Ch is a strong guttural sound, that sound you make when you need to clear your throat 😆 Ps tonight is another MBC live concert in Nay. @@PortuguesePai I can post some youtuve song links here Ari Goldwag and David Pearlman sang together. Nissim Black is also great 👍not a MBC Alumni, but a really special convert. ( I saw that you watched the song from Unorthodox Just for context: In regards to Unorthodox, the story has been a big blow to the Orthodox Jewish community. It shows only one families sad experience in the Hassidic Orthodox world. The story is based on a girl who grew up in a home filled with generational trauma stemming from Holocaust trauma which many families still carry . Fear of the outside world, fear of neighbors turning their backs and turning them into Gestapo... Along with other issues which results in a broken home filled with negativity. Most media, movies, TV shows show Orthodox Jewish ( especially Hassidic ) culture in a negative light . This is why we are surprised that something positive ( MBC) about our community is actually being appreciated by the world. If you want to dig a big deeper in understanding some of our culture, Peter Santenelo did a wonderful KZfaq vlog about the Orthodox Jewish communities. I can link that video too ( don't think it really connects to your KZfaq content but in case you were interested...)
